What It Takes to Be Infinite.

Finally Free

Infinite and Liarel were moving non-stop ever since the war ended the female Jackal was still a little bit weak so Infinite was caring her the hole time as they moved on, her head against his shoulder har arms lightly wrapped around her and Infinite and her eyes were closed.

The male Jackal looked down at her but continued moving he needed to find a safe place to rest in for the night that was coming fairly quickly, they soon came to a cave Infinite moved to it looking around before looking back at Liarel she was now asleep in his arms he smiled kissing her forehead before placing her down into the floor once he was inside of it.

The male jackal looked out again before going to find something to start a fire which didn't take long building a fire and going back to Liarel seeing a few wounds still on her that the mysterious crystal didn't heal up, Infinite was confused to the site of the crystal showing up like it did he never saw that before and was curious to what caused it.

After some time Infinite was standing at the cave entrance watching the sun set leaning against the wall with his arms over his chest he sighed to himself even though he was unwilling to help Eggman the male Jackal would be a wanted criminal for it but he felt he didn't have to worry about Sonic and his friends because they saw why he did it all and they seemed to have forgiven him.

Infinite then felt something on his shoulder he looked to see a blue gloves hand he looked back to see Liarel standing there she smiled a little.

"Liarel..." He said as he turned towards her.

"I'm ok Zero..." Liarel replied and kisses his cheek.

Infinite smiled as well and hugged her. "I'm glad you are."

Liarel smiled and nuzzles into him moving her arms around him tightly.

"I am curious though." Infinite said calmly.

"What is it?" Liarel asked

Infinite pulled away from her and into her blue and green eyes. "Before you wake from escaping the robot you were motionless I thought you were lost before a strange crystal like substance appeared then disappeared and you were moving again." He said with a concerned look on his face. "So you know what happened?"

Liarel looked into his eyes before she sighed. "I don't know what it is myself... all that I found was that seems to be the reason i'm even here alive..." she responded

The male jackal sighed before kissing the top of her head. "Whatever it is we will figure it would." He said

Liarel smiled and held onto him tightly, even though the two of them were now free from Eggman their journey was far from over and they both knew it.
