What It Takes to Be Infinite.

Death Egg Robot.

Sonic and Shadra had gotten outside of the fortress onto a ledge where Tails and the other Sonic came to meet them.

"We did it!" Sonic said cheerfully. "Eggman's army in officially butt-kicked we won!"

Sonic and Shadra were about to fist bump before the ground shook they both looked around.

"Oh, come on! Now what?" Sonic asked. "Can't we ever just win and have that be the end of it?"

"Look!" Tails said pointing behind Sonic and Shadra.

The two of them looked and turned around to see a large robot appearing before them.

"Gotcha!" Eggman stated within the robot. "The fortress reactor was just a decoy!"

The group just looked at the robot and prepared for battle.

"A true winner always keeps his trump card hidden until the end." Eggman continued

Sonic groaned a little before they heard the communicator go off. "Sonic what's going on?" Vector asked. "There aren't less enemies there's MORE!"

"What?!" Tails asked.

"How can there be so meny?" Amy asked

"Confirmed sightings indicate Shadow, Metal Sonic, Zavok, Chaos, Infinite..." Rouge replied. "Thousands of them!"

Sonic and Shadra growled and looked up at the robot. "What have you done?!" Sonic asked with a growl.

Eggman laughed. "I nearly incorporated the Phantom Ruby into this Death Egg Robot." He replied

"But that means the Phantom Ruby no longer has a vulnerable energy supply." Tails said looking at the robot. "It's an invulnerable Ruby?"

"A good deduction, Tails." Eggman replied. "This Death Egg Robot has... no! I have surpassed Infinite to become the complete and ultimate form, you will be crushed by this Death Egg Robot powered by the Phantom Ruby, and in the end everything will still be just as I planned."

Eggman laughed again before using the Ruby within the robot but they also heard a scream competing from inside it, Sonic and the others were slightly confused to it.

"Y-you... you RAT BASTARD!" They heard Infinite shout in pain inside the robot.

Sonic's eyes widened to hear that. That's where he is? He asked himself. Then where is Liarel?

Eggman groaned. "Even now you try to defy me..." he said

Another scream was heard from Infinite not also from Liarel and this cussed Sonic to snap a little glaring at the robot.

"Your plan will fail like all your plans do: with you sitting in a pile of busted robot parts wondering how you failed so badly." Sonic stayed as the other Sonic and Shadra got beside him and he looked at the both of them. "Let's get them."

The three of them began to fight it the smaller Sonic going first dodging it's lasers and bouncing metal balls back at it's center.

"He's overclocking the Phantom Ruby!" Tails said in shock. "That's insane."

"No reguler tool can damage it now, your our last chance." Rouge replied

"Give it your all Sonic!" Tails said again. "You'll always be our shining hope!"

The Smaller Sonic nodded to tails as he continued to attack the robot with the metal balls before the last one hit the center breaking the shielding and cracking the glass, it then fell hitting another platform where Shadra was and she took her chance to attack it now.

"Go no Rookie! I know you can do this!" Vector said though the communicator.

"Our fate is in your hands." Silver replied

"I won't let you down!" Shadra said as she dodged the attacks and used her flamethrower on the center of the robot damaging it a few times, eggman growled from inside the robot and he tried to destroy the platform for was on but she kept evading the attacks.

"Come on is that the best you can do?" Shadra taunted him with a slight grin on her face.

Eggman growled at her again and continued to attack her.

Inside of the Robot Liarel and Infinite were still restrained inside of it the female Jackal watched helplessly as her lover was just screaming in pain hanging there, she closed her eyes and pinned her ears back the power inside of her suddenly came around her. "I've had enough of this SHIT!" she spat as she broke her free from her restraints.

Infinite looked at her happy she broke free but he didn't say anything due to the pain affecting him.

Liarel growled and went to try break Infinite out of his but his were a little stronger than hers were, she tried for a while before a blast of energy came from the Ruby pushing Liarel away from Infinite smashing into the wall she cried out in pain and fell to the floor passing out.

"No, LIAREL!!!" Infinite cried out and tried to fight again.

"Your not going anywhere Infinite!" Eggman growled at the Masked Jackal as he continued to attack Sonic and the others.

Back to the battle Shadra managed to damage the Death Egg Robot enough that the large robot seemed to stop moving but a crashing sound was heard from the middle of the center and before they knew it another still large but different looking robot came out of the other and the sound of the Ruby was heard with more sounds of pain from the inside of it.

This time they were pulled into the power of the Ruby and all three of them were here this time.

"End this Sonic! Defeat him!" Knuckle stated

"Go for it, Sonic!" Amy said

"Well do Amy." Sonic replied.

Sonic, Shadra and the other Sonic ran towards the Robot avoiding lasers as they boosted towards to and Sonic got a few hits before the other two hit as well.

As the Fight went on eggman tried a few more attacks but was not hitting them every time he tried but they kept on hitting him before they did a triple boosted into the Robot destroying it and they escaped from the Power of the Ruby.
