We got to the airport in time and met my family. Of course I was bombarded by the question how I felt and every time I answered that I was fine. Because we were late on our plan, we decided to only stay for a day in Marseille and then go on to Grasse.

Marseille was beautiful, yet I prefer the small village Grasse. Carlisle bought me a perfume I created myself in one of the perfume factories here. The entire village smelled like flowers, most of all roses. I loved that smell so much! Everyone enjoyed that trip, though Renesmee was eager to travel to the coast. At the Cote d’Azur the sun was fully shining. I wondered how they had planned this trip through, but Renesmee still wanted to go to the beach. Edward rather wanted to skip this trip and go on to Italy. But I told my family that I could go to the beach with her today and then we could go on, after all Nessie was excited for this since we told her that. They agreed reluctantly, I sighed, I still was a fragile human to them plus being pregnant which meant for them that they would rather lock me inside the hotel before they would let me go out on my own. I still convinced them and got ready.

I couldn’t find any bath suit, though I was sure that I packed some basic swim suits. Alice came in and held a very revealing bikini in her hands. I looked at her incredulously. “That will look wonderful. Just try it!” I took it and changed in the bathroom. I put my hair in a ponytail and took my sunglasses, the only thing I couldn’t find was my tunica. I walked into the dining room where everyone was. “Carlisle, have you seen my tunica, it’s not in my suit case?” He looked at me and gulped, “Yes, Alice laid it on the coach.” “Thank you,” I said and kissed him on my tiptoes. “Carlisle…” Edward pleaded. I looked at him puzzled. “Nothing,” both said. I sighed and put the tunica on.

“Maybe you should keep that on at the beach,” Edward suggested. “Why?” I asked. “Esme, you still need sun cream. Bella already prepared Nessie, now it’s your turn,” Alice interrupted and shushed me into the bathroom. In the end Edward drove us to the beach and promised that Alice, Carlisle and he would be in a nearby café, if anything should happen. I assured him that everything will be fine and got out with Nessie. She appeared to be three years old now. Her hair was French braided and up in a ponytail. She wore frilly swim suits with fitting sandals and sun glasses. I wore my light red orange bikini with a white tunica and brown sandals and sunglasses.

The day on the beach was like I had said all along perfect. Nessie and I played ball, built sandcastles, went swimming and made a picnic in the evening sun. Before we went to find the others Nessie and I watched the sunset and I took her into my arms to carry her to the stage. Right there everyone stood. Bella took Renesmee from me. She was half-asleep in her arms but she still smiled. Edward saw in her mind what we all did today and he smiled as well before he hugged me. “We really should worry less, huh?” he whispered. “Yes, you should. But you never will I assume,” I answered with a smile. He smirked. “Let’s go to the hotel,” Rosalie said and accompanied me back to the cars.

“Do you know that you are beautiful?” Carlisle asked me back in our hotel room. “I heard something like that from one specific person,” I told him and sat myself on his lap. “No, but really, have you noticed the changes?” “What do you mean?” “You glow out of happiness and warmth. And well in that type of swim wears I really noticed that you grow already,” he said and cleared his throat. “Huh?” “Your breasts, they’ve grown,” he said matter-of-factly and a bit ashamed. “Oh, Carlisle, sometimes I really think that you never learn. You…” I said and tipped his nose,” are my husband. I’m more than fine when you touch me… and you can tell me such things as well. I’m not your patient, so you can look.” “Okay,” he agreed, but if he could still blush he probably would. I giggled. I got up from his lap and put the tunica away. Then I said back on his lap and took his hands tentatively and put them on my chest. “See, that’s fine.” He began kissing me and I responded willingly. That night was not the only but we’ve spent it together in heaven!
