Chapter Five

The next morning they discharge me from the hospital. Me and Noah have no where to go. I walk outside and look around. Harley and Cayden's mom pulls up in her car. "Y'all are coming to stay with us for a while" She says after she rolls the window down. I smile and looked at Noah who was also smiling. We get into the car and leave with her. "We have a guest room and a spare room that Y'all can stay in" She tells us as we pull up at her house. Their spare room is actually a work-study for Harley's dad but I guess he's willing to give it up for us. We walk in and Harleys mom told us to follow her to the rooms. She opens the door to the spare room. "This is where Noah will be staying" She says with a smile. When she opened the door all the way we seen that it had already been turned into a room walls painted and some of Noahs stuff was already in it including a new game system for him. Noah thanked her and immediately got on the game. "Noah that is rude" I say. "It's alright Dan knew he'd like it" She tells me. We walk farther down the hall where the guest room is. She told me to go in. As I walk in I see that it had also been redone. "Harley of course helped out on your room" She says. It was my dream room. The room me and Harley all the time talked about turning our rooms into but we never had the chance. I smile and thanked her while giving her a hug. "We have been working on these rooms every since y'all's parents were killed" She says. "I'll let you get settled and then wash up for dinner" I told her okay. She walks out and shuts the door behind her. Something was weird. She said every since my parents were killed. Like she knew something. And how she said it was weird also. At that exact moment I remembered something. My parents didn't leave in the same vehicle. They both took their own car. So how did they have a wreck in the same car? Did something happen to the other one? Something doesn't add up.
