I wake up to the sound of Harley's dad's alarm clock. It's seven in the morning. I uncover and get out of bed. I grab some clothes and head into the shower. I stood under the water for what seemed like hours. I finally get out and get dressed. I walk out of the bathroom and run into Cayden. "I can get use to this" he says with a smile. I smile back and walk into my room. I grab my bag and walk back out. "Where are you going" Cayden asks. "I have something I need to do. I'll be back later" I tell him. I open the door to outside and start walking towards my old house. When I got to the door it was locked. I grabbed the spare key from the mat and walk in. I don't know what I'm looking for but I start searching. I walk into the room that used to be mine. It's empty. I look around and see something sticking out of the wall. I walk over to see what it was. A secret compartment. It's weird because I have never seen it before. I've lived in this room my whole life almost and never seen it. I open it up and there was a book in it. I grab the book and read the front of it. "To my lovely daughter Raelynn" it read. I open it up and started reading the first page. "If you found this book then that means something happened. Raelynn me and your father love you. And it's now your duty to make things right. Just remember not all of them are bad. Some were my friends. You can trust some but not all. Now you must see your great grandma. She has something for you." I close the book. What does this mean? I put the book in my bag and walk back out. I guess I'm going to see my Grandma. Who is "them"? Who is she talking about? I get a ride to the nursing home from Derek. "If you tell anyone about this Derek I swear I'll tell Harley about your secret crush" I bribe him. He nods as I get out of the car. I go inside and tell the front desk I'm visiting my Grandma. "She's been expecting you" She says. I walk into her room and Grandma is sitting in her chair with a box in her lap. "What is that Grandma?" I ask her. "Your mother said you would be by to get it. This was passed down our generation. You must wear it every day. Don't ever lose it nor forget to wear it" She replies. She hands me the box and I begin to open it. "Your parent's death wasn't from a car accident. It just looked that way" She adds. I can feel my heart racing. "Then what was it, Grandma?" I ask. "Revenge. And soon they will be coming after you. So you have to learn as quickly as possible" She says. I open the box and there's a necklace in it. I pull it out of the box and look at it. It has a V and a W on it and under it says Hunter. "What's so special about this necklace?" I ask. "You'll soon find out. But wear it every single day and read every page in that book your mother left for you" She answers. I walk out of the nursing home and I see Cayden sitting in his mom's car asleep. I walked over to his door and nudged his shoulder. "What are you doing here Cayden?" I ask him. He opens his eyes and was surprised to see me. "I uhm.." I stop him. "Did you follow me here?" I asked. "No.." He says with uncertainty. "Cayden" I say demanding to know the truth. "Okay yes I did follow you" He says. "I was just making sure you were safe is all" He adds. "I was visiting my grandmother Cayden" I tell him. He looks at my necklace and reaches his hand towards it. "Did she give you this?" He asks. He tries to grab it to look at it and immediately pulls his hand back. "Ouch, what kind of necklace is that?" He asks. "I don't know really but what just happened?" I ask. "It shocked me" He replies. "Probably was just static electricity" I tell him. He agrees and I get into the car. "Let's go home" He says with a smile.
