"I tried to tell her, Fletch, but she wouldn't listen." I said with a sigh.
"Well, hey, if he gets bad enough, we'll just have to scare him off."
"Yeah, okay."
We paid and left, and since Arabella drove off, without me, I was getting a lift in Fletcher's Jeep.
I reached over and changed the station to one playing "Say You Like Me" by We the Kings. Fletcher rolled his eyes, but didn't comment.
Back at the sorority later that day, I was searching around the house to find the fifteen Leonardo DiCaprio printouts taped around the place. A girl did it for finals last year, but never took them down. Now, Arabella and I were competing to see who could find them all first. We had crossed referenced our lists, and were missing the same one.
While walking by, I paused at the piano, remembering a YouTube video from one of the other girls. I lifted the cover from the keys and sure enough, there it was.
I smiled to myself and when back to my room, where Arabella was lounging.
"I found the fifth Leo."
Her head snapped up.
"Where?"
"Come see."
I took her back downstairs and showed her the Leo in the piano.
"You owe me twenty bucks now."
She huffed and rolled her eyes, knowing I probably won't pester her for the money.
The next morning I got up earlier than usual, since I had a beginner's class on cosmology at 7. I showered and got dressed, getting a coffee from the pot downstairs. I grabbed my keys and went to my green mini roadster, unlocking it as I got closer. Sure, campus was across the street, but I was too lazy to walk for a class across campus.
When I got in my class an sat down to wait for the professor, a familiar dark haired tall guy strode into the room and sat to my left.
"Fancy seeing you here, beautiful." His unfamiliar accent rang out.
"What do you want?"
"Well, this is a cosmology course so-"
"That's not what I meant." I cut him off. "You could've sat anywhere else in the whole room, but you chose to sit next to me. Please, leave me alone."
I gathered my things and moved a few rows up as more students came in. The professor entered as well, and I thought it meant Calum would stay in his seat. I was wrong.
"You, tall dark and lanky, why are you moving seats?" The professor asked.
Collective giggles rang out before he answered.
"The floor at this seat was sticky, and I felt it would be too much of a distraction to this beautiful subject."
Wow, kiss up much? I thought. But again, he sat next to me.
He was going to be a problem, I just knew it.
After class was over, I was walking towards my car and saw Fletcher leaning on it. I grinned, but my grin soon fell as I heard thundering footsteps falling quickly behind me, and an accent yell my name.
Here we go...
