Chapter 5: Rogues

Skylar's POV:

I know I spoke to Kaiden, Mason, and Kyle but I'm not sure if I'm ready to talk to the others. I'm afraid they won't like me or say I'm not good enough to be their luna because of what I went through and couldn't fight back.

What if Kaiden only likes me because he feels pity for me. What if he had another girlfriend and I'm just on his side lines.

I curl up on the bed and let out a little sob. I think talking again was a mistake because now their going to think I was faking and I have to speak to everyone.

I let out a few more sobs and tears ran down my face. The door bursted open and I saw Kaiden looking worried something happened.

"Skylar?! Are you ok?! Why are you crying?" He said with a worried look as he came over to sit next to me.

I shook my head and turned to other way.

"Are you not going to speak to me? It's ok if your not ready still and that was just a one time thing... just please give something that your okay..." he said and theirs a hint of hurt in his voice like he was disappointed I wouldn't speak to him.

I turned around quickly and wrapped my arms around his neck and nuzzled my face in his neck.

"I'm sorry Kai I'm sorry..." I whispered

I knew he cared I don't know why I would think he didn't. He was there for me since I got here and never got mad at me.

"Love there's nothing to be sorry about, I'm just happy your ok. I came up to check on you because I heard you crying and I was also about to come up to tell you your brother is leaving." He told me.

I nodded my head, "I freaked out... I'm not sure if I'm ready to talk to everyone I'm still scared of what they think and my old pack coming after me for what happened. I also had a lot of what if's between you and I..." I muttered the last bit hoping he wouldn't hear that bit.

"Love, it's alright if your not ready to talk to other people yet I understand completely. They will love you just as much as I love you," he says.

Wait a minute did he say he loves me?! Maybe he's telling the truth. Is he waiting for me to reply? Do I love him back?

"Are you ok there Sky?" He asks and I nodded my head.

I love him too

"I love you too Kaiden," I said back

He looks so happy and he leaned in and smashed his lips against mine.

He pulls away and leans his forehead against mine.

"We should probably head back downstairs we don't want to keep your brother waiting and I'm sure you want to say your goodbyes," he says and I nodded my head.

We go downstairs and I see my brother waiting by the door patiently.

"Bye big bro," I said

"Bye Sky, keep being strong and don't forget that I love you and will always love you and I'm here for you whenever you need," he says and gives me a tight hug, "Kaiden it was nice seeing you again and you better not hurt my sister or else I will come back and rip your head off."

Kaiden gulps and nodded his head.

"I'll make her happy and take good care of her I'll treat her like a little princess," Kaiden says and it made me blush a bit.

My brother nodded and he waved goodbye.

"So what do you want to do today love?" Kaiden asked.
