Skylar's POV:
"Sky...I want to mark you so I can talk to you if that ever happens again. I hope it doesn't but we can never be to sure," he says and I look at him in shock.
Should I let him mark me...?
I don't know if I'm ready but I know I love him. I know he will always protect me and never leave my side. I think I know what to say
"Then mark me," I gave him a smile and my face heated up.
After I said that he crashed his lips against mine and then kissed down to my neck.
He pulls back, "You sure?" I nodded my head. "This may hurt at first but not that long."
He moved back to neck and I felt his canines graze my neck and then felt them pinch into my neck. I let out a little whimper because it hurt as hell but then I felt the pleasure.
When he pulled his teeth out he licked the blood that came out of my neck.
"I love you so much, and it looks beautiful on you," he told me and I smiled.
"I love you too," I gave him a kiss.

Kaiden's POV:
I marked her. We are one step closer. I will wait till she is ready to finish the mating bond.
She doin fell asleep in my arms and she rested her head on my chest.
Thank you moon goddess for giving me the perfect Mate even if she thinks differently about herself. She's perfect and I love her.
"She really is a perfect Mate," Xavier said and I agreed
'She is," I told him and I'm fall asleep soon after.

I woke up and went to look at my Mate but she was gone. I started to panic because I thought she was gone and someone took her.
"I'm in the kitchen making you breakfast, I could feel you panic I wanted to let you know I'm ok," her soft calming voice said through our new mind link.
A few minutes after she came in and I was sitting on the bed in just my shorts.
"Here you go," she hands me a tray with breakfast on it. "I figured this was a nice way to say thank you for last night."
"Why are you saying thank you for? If some one is gonna say thank you it should be me for letting me mark you," I tell her.
She blushed from what I said and I think she looks so cute when she blushes.
"How's your leg feeling? Shouldn't you be resting?" I asked
"It healed I was surprise when I got up and I didn't feel any pain," she replied
"That's good," I tell her
'Alpha... there is a rouge attack that is happening there's a lot of them. I don't know if we can take them.' Dakota my beta said through our mind link.
