"This is the fakest shit I've ever seen," I remarked, crossing my arms as the T.V flashed beyond me on the couch.

"So, you don't believe in the paranormal, do you, Jack?" Felix pondered, sitting to my left, running his fingers through his blond hair excessively.

"I mean, I do, but some of these shows just.. are the cheesiest crap out there. Every second a chair ether flips over or they hear footsteps that nobody else watching can hear," I explained my opinions, but as I turned to Felix, he was unamused.

"I see where you're coming from, but you can't just put a 'Fake' stamp on every show you watch," he stated, throwing his hand out to gesture at the T.V.

I objected, shaking my head. "I don't do that to every show!"

Felix spat out a quick laugh, sitting upwards.

"You did it to 'The Voice', Jack. You thought everyone had auto tune on," he responded, his voice giving off agitation.

"Okay, but listen closely! You seriously can hear slight pauses in their voice!" Trying to prove my point, I stood up, resting my hands on my hips, staring at Felix.

"It's called a voice crack!" He responded, leaning over as he held his stomach, hurls of laughter releasing from him.

I rolled my eyes, obviously annoyed. Felix cut his laughing short after a good three minutes and stood up with me.

"If you wanna show me how you're the know-it-all here, why don't you prove to me that the paranormal exists?" I questioned him provokingly as he made his way to the kitchen.

Felix turned around on his heel, giving me a look as if I just lost a math quiz to a six year old. "How?" He asked.

Shrugging intently, I looked around as if the room were to give me an idea.

Felix kept his annoyed glance on me, him tapping his foot repeatedly. The silence consumed us.

I began to feel an awkwardness spread amongst my features, which were still attempting to find anything.

"Okay, tell me in a million years when you decide," Felix announced, beginning to walk toward the stairs willingly.

"Where are you going?" I asked, avoiding what I had just pleaded about Felix's love for the paranormal.

"To bed," he contended, which followed with a door closing when he vanished from the upstairs.

I was left to stand by myself in the open living room, the T.V still blaring from behind me, about a stupid commercial.

Turning my view to the screen, I jumped from a vibration in my rear. Reaching for my phone, which I forgot about through this whole moment, I read the message on my lock screen–which was a screen cap of DDLC.

Yo

I peered up the stairs to Felix's door.
"Felix, I'm leaving with Mark!" I advised him.

"Why?" He questioned in a shouting manner, yet to stubborn to open his door.
