Dark swept me to the ground carefully. I watched as he flew over me, spinning around into the air, then landing down beside me.

"Welcome," He said, resting his hand on my shoulder as I turned around.

"Woah," I admired. The castle settled right in front of me, it towering high above us, dark clouds all around.

"Now can you call me king?" Dark teased, a smug grin spreading across his face. I shook my head. "You wish," I replied jokingly.

He snapped in fake sorrow, his wings poofing away, and made his way to the front gate.

Dark waited for me to catch up. "You might wanna hold your breath," he advised. I gave him an odd look, until the same teleportation mist hovered around us.

"Oh crap," I said.

The mist swallowed us whole. I looked to my left, Dark nowhere in sight as the mist continued to hover.

"Dark!" I called out, but choked back, as if I were underwater. Pounding at my chest, I coughed out black liquid. My throat began to burn, so I grasped it. I winced at the stinging pain from the gash in my neck.

The mist vanished suddenly, and I fell to my knees, coughing up more black liquid.

Once I finished, throat still burning, I noticed I was now on wooden flooring. Some type of dark maple wood.

I knelt up, shocked by the view. I was on my knees on a small balcony facing the gray atmosphere outside. A candle lit on the rail, blowing in the wind.

"Woah," I gaped again. Turning around, there were two tall windows opened that lead out to the balcony I stayed on. Inside from the window doors was a room, with a dark red lighting aroma.

A dark red duvet was in the middle against a wall, two side tables polished to the brim on each side. Dead flowers settled on one. Black paint smoothly coated the walls.

Across the duvet was a black closet, with a marble fireplace to the right of it. A mirror set place in the corner of the room, beside a door.

I walked over to observe the mirror. I was standing there, my green hair a mess, my shirt slightly torn.

Dark appeared behind me out of the blue, making me jump.

"Where were you?" I asked in an angry tone.
"Calm down, it was only a few seconds," he responded.

"Yeah, a few seconds of no air," I argued. Dark chuckled, saying, "that's why I told you to hold your breath."

I repeatedly tapped my foot in annoyance.
"You should've been with me atleast before I died or something."

He shook his head, slightly irritated at my ignorance.
"I'm charming, not your mother," he inquired.

I caught his view adjust to the mirror behind me.

"What a handsome fellow," he complimented, adjusting his tie. I smiled softly.

"Oh yeah, you too, Jack," he joked. My smile faded and I laughed.

"So is this my room?" I asked, looking around. Dark shrugged blatantly. "It is if you want it."

"Thanks. Can I.. look around more? Just incase there's more rooms," I explained. Dark grinned. "Of course."

He opened the door, staring at me.

"Aren't you gonna go?" I asked him, waiting for him to step out.
