"I'm tired," I groaned, holding my forearm in pain. Natemare leaned on his scepter, a smug look on his face. "Really now?" My glaring caught his attention.

"Alright fine, you deserve a break. You're already getting teleporting down pretty good," he said. I nodded, turning around.

"Try it one more time," he added. I sighed, straightening my position.

Inhaling for a moment, I focused on what surrounded me, then thought of a spot somewhere in the castle.

"Actually," Nate interrupted. I looked at him. "Try somewhere a bit away. Such as.. the highest balcony on this castle. Three floors above yours."

My jaw hung low, my green eye twitching dramatically. "Chill. You've only been teleporting to the other end of this room. It'll be a good stretch," he inquired.

Groaning loudly, I resumed my focus on my surroundings. I pictured a green light mist in my head.

The green mist hovered over me from my feet, engulfing me. This was pretty easy for a starter like me.

Grinning with confidence, I rested my hands on my hips waiting for the mist to disappear.

It did, and it revealed a larger balcony than mine in my room. The wood was a darker type, and it connected to dark stained glass windows. The dark clouds were now only a few feet above my head, the wind gently breezing around me.

I held on to the handles that opened the door, a cold feeling on them. Opening the glass door, a flat cinnamon smell met my face.

The room in front of me was large, a king sized bed in the center wall of it. A black duvet covered it, the frame looming over the top a polished gray.

The pillows were a dark red, settled near the headboard delicately. Scanning around, a wooden desk was near the door, which was a decent size with an old golden handle.

Noseyness came to me, allowing me to walk over and look at the things that were thrown around on the desk.

There were blank papers, an ink pen, ink blob spilled on the top of the desk, and a broken picture frame.

"What the.." I spoke, eyeing it. I picked it up carefully, turning it around in my palm.

There was a picture with color inside. For once something colorful. It was of Dark, him looking down and smiling at something, his arm down.

The picture was torn to pieces for the other side. My view peered down to the messed up papers on the desk.

I grinned, putting the frame down and throwing papers carelessly off the desk.

They began piling up on the floor behind me as I tried to scavenge for any other parts of the photo, which was obviously torn by hand.

Once I threw the last paper to the ground, I sighed. Nothing.

Beginning to shuffle the papers back together and placing them on the desk, I noticed a trash bin hidden underneath the desk. I smirked.

The trash knocked over from my foot kicking it, more crunched up papers flying out. There it was. Two large pieces of a photo that were torn apart.

I hurried to get ahold of the frame, putting the pieces together like a puzzle.

I gaped at the picture. It was Amy he was smiling at. She looked back up at him, her eyes inhuman. Almost demonic. She had white ooze draining out of her darkened eyes, as she smiled peacefully at Dark.

I dropped the frame, a loud crash occurring due to it smashing to pieces. My hands met my mouth as I froze in panic and thoughts flooding into my brain.

Did Dark somehow possess her and bring her here? But, Felix said she died from the Ouija board! Dark couldn't have killed her! Was Amy still here? What happened to their relationship? Should I bring up the lie that Felix told Mark?

I heard footsteps begin to run outside the door, echoing toward me.

I quickly threw the pieces of the picture and frame into the trash. Then I kicked it under the desk, running to the balcony.

I grasped for the railing without thinking, lunging myself over it in panic. I forgot I was hundreds of feet above the ground.

A scream escaped my throat as my body began to fall down. The ground came closer and closer.

"Anti!" Dark shouted, catching me in his arms, his wings spread out and flapping hastily.

I looked at him, my breathing short and fast. Looking down over his arm, the ground was still hundreds of feet below.

"What were you doing?" He asked in worry, one of his hands caressing my cheek.

My lips parted slightly but nothing came out. Dark chuckled, beginning to fly us back up to his balcony.

"You know you can't fly, silly." I nervously laughed to cover up my guilt, clinging tight to him.

He landed, gently putting me down on the balcony.

"So, wanna tell me what you were doing in my room about to jump to your death?" He questioned, inching closer to me.

I shrugged slightly, running my hand behind my neck. Dark got closer, his hand grasping my hand on my neck. Our lips touched as his wings spiked up momentarily, then vanishing.

The door in his room slammed open, causing us to shove ourselves off of each other, standing awkwardly awaiting the intruder.

"Anti, come o–" Natemare whisper-shouted, stepping into the bedroom.

He was taken back when he noticed Dark standing aside me. "Heyyyy Dark," He cleared his throat.

"I'm assuming you had something to do with him in my room?" Dark asked, straightening his posture and fixing his tie. His tone made me feel like we weren't dating each other and were just friends. But that's what we wanted Nate to think.

"What would you do if I said yes?" Natemare replied, standing with caution. Dark shook his head, fixing his suit with his hands. "I'd make you explain first."

Nate nodded, and complied saying, "I might have been teaching Anti to teleport.."

I watched, like the stranger at a subway in front of an angry married couple.

"To my room?" He asked with a hint of jokingness of "you know what's coming," in his voice.

Natemare slowly nodded. Dark turned to me with a grin on his face, then lunged for Nate.

I cracked a smile as the two dodged each other,  Nate rushing out of the door quickly. Dark swiftly ran over to the door like how the vampires run in Twilight, then looked back at me.

"Stay here. I'll be back to show you something." He then winked, continuing his swift run out to Natemare.

I let out a sigh of relief and joy for once in awhile. I gazed over at the trash bin, the gleam of the golden broken frame catching my eye.

I found myself walking over, the view of Amy coming close in the bin.

"I let him free," Dark spoke, appearing behind me, "for now."

I turned as if innocent of not snooping around and smiled at him.

"Now, where were we?" he continued. He rushed up to me, placing his lips on mine. I tied my arms around the back of his neck.

Dark held my hips softly, turning us to the bed. He gently knocked me on to it as we continued with our lips on each other.

The night went as slow as I've ever wanted it.
