It was a bright and windy morning, on this lovely Saturday. Even though the sun was out shining brightly as ever, the breeze was so strong you could hear the wind blowing through the trees. Yet, it had to be the perfect weather to go out for a morning run.

I gotten used to running with Constance, as we would compete against each other to see who was the fastest between us. Sometimes I won, and others she did.

"I let you win this time," Constance whined, picking up her towel to wipe her neck and face, before taking a seat on the tree trunk of the tree. "Next time I got you, I promise."

I chuckled, taking a seat next to her as I drunk water from my water bottle. "I believe you."

"Good," She laughed, taking a huge gulp from the water bottle. "Darius, I talked to my mom last night,"

"What'd she say?"

"You know how you get those feelings that you don't want to let your parents down?" She asked.

"Yeah, that's how you feel?"

She nodded her head, as she topped her water top up. "I always felt that, especially after graduating. I would just think about what should I do to make them proud of me, you know?"

"Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. You just want them to be proud of you but you just haven't found something yet." I bobbed my head.

A line appeared between her brows, the more she spoke. "Exactly! Growing up, I wasn't really worried about having a career but what teenager really was in their early teens? Now at the age of eighteen and after graduating, should I have a choice already? I definitely want to go to college, but I don't want to go and not have a clue on what I want to do for the rest of my life."

I darted my eyes in no particular direction in deep thought, and turned back towards Constance. "I think a lot of people, our age have this exact same thought in their heads. So you shouldn't feel alone or think you should have everything figured out already," I offered a few words of encouragement to her, "Because I heard even in college, you might have a certain goal to do in there and might change it. It's normal to feel the way you feel,"

Her whole face started to lit up. "I know, but after helping Lamont I thought about how good I reacted to his panic attack and thought about trying to do something that involves helping people. I love to give advice to my friends, so probably doing something in that nature will be great for me."

"Then, you probably found something that you might enjoy which is helping others. I could see you as a psychology major, or as a councilor the more you get excited to give advice." Observing the happiness on her face, she told me brought a grin on my face. "You might even get your own office someday and I'll come to you with one of problems, and Dr. Constance Wright will be everywhere, I could already see it now."

"Don't hype me like that, mr. talent," She laughed, and dabbed the towel on her neck. "What about you, are you thinking about taking your talents to school?"
