My little-helper has been trying to help everyone, and this made me want to take her out. I feel like ice cream wasn't that good of a first date, maybe that'll be our second one as I decided taking her out to eat would be better for the first one. As I thought of the first time I talked to her, I knew that she'll be my girlfriend. I might've had a vision of us being together which is why I felt she was my dream girl.
Jacqueline mouth curved into a smile. "I like this date idea even better. My best friend deserves the best, and I hope you are that guy for her because if you think of trying to hurt her I will most definitely cut you!"
"Chill." I chuckled, knowing that wasn't even a threat but a promise.
"Where you thinking about taking her?" Eugene asked, after shaking his head at his girl. "I still think we should do a group date together."
"Maybe for our second date, but I don't know bruh." I sighed, tapping my fingers on the table in deep thought. I wanted our first date to special, and for her to honestly enjoy herself. "Out for soul food or something else?"
"I honestly think Constance will happy with any of those ideas." Jacqueline told me, as she rested her chin on her palm. "There's a few good soul food restaurants you should think about Busy Bee Cafe, and oh gosh you'll fall deeply in love with their red velvet cake."
"Red Velvet?" I frowned in disgust.
"It's good, you missing out friend." She laughed. "Also there's Mary Mac's Tea Room, and I absolutely love their fried shrimp."
"Yeah, that place really good bruh." Eugene agreed.
"Then there's Gladys Knight, Chicken and Waffles." Jacqueline added.
"What about Soul Vegetarian?" Eugene asked her.
"I'm not much of a vegetarian eating kind of person, but yeah they good too." Jacqueline shrugged her shoulders before smiling at me. "So which one you thinking about?"
"I don't know, maybe the chicken and waffles place?" I thought, feeling nervous about asking Constance. I know I already had her as my girl but it still didn't change anything about me being nervous. "Come on, help me out please. I really want her to enjoy herself."
"The area in busy bee is very crowded, try Gladys Knight, Chicken and Waffles. I promise you both will love the food and the desert even more." Jacqueline said. "Also there's old school soul music that'll have y'all vibing."
"Do people dress up over there?" I asked her.
"It's more of a casual dress up than anything." She answered.
