It now was later in the day, and time for us to go to the mall to shop for things for upcoming party bash. The two vehicles were on the road, ours and the guys. The driver of two cars were Sienna and Darius who both had their licenses to drive us around. I on the other hand, was terrified behind the wheel even after receiving my license so I decided against being the person to drive.

I sat comfortably in the backseat with Jacqueline beside me, who was busy taking pictures of herself. Music played from the aux, and the artist was the one and only Aaliyah, the late R&B Princess.

I hummed along to the song, Four Page Letter as I imagined myself in the video. I wanted to be like her so bad growing up, and I would wear my hair just like her. Her style was unmatched, and oozed fashion appeal.

My mind then wandered off to the reason for showing up to the camp, my first year. I was only fifteen years old, and was going to either go to a all girls' camp for the summer or south side circle park. Of course, I chose to go to Camp South Side Circle where I was glad that I did— I met people who I would consider friends and a place that I can call a second home.

Now, it was another summer and sadly, my last year of being here since I was moving on to college. I was really terrified of starting my career, and being out in the real world yet I felt like I was going to either disappointment my parents or try my hardest to make them proud.

Feeling a tap on my shoulder, I turn seeing Jacqueline with a concerned stare on her face.

"You okay, Con?" She asked, as I didn't even realize we were in the parking lot of the mall.

"Girl yes!" I forced a smile on my face, hoping she bought it.

"Well, lets go." She replied, and opened up the door.

I exited the vehicle, and I looked down at my clothes to check if it looked as good as it did in the mirror. I wore ripped, high-waisted blue jean capris, flowery bodysuit shirt, with strapped sandals while I wore a brown Coach cross-body purse. My hair was washed and kinda still damp from the shower, so I put a bun and laid down my baby hairs. The only makeup I wore for today was regular lip gloss, and mascara with eyeliner.

I looked cute today, and felt even cuter with my sunshades on my face.

"You ready to head inside?" Jacqueline questioned.

I looked around noticing everyone was inside already, so I gave her a nod as she linked her arms with mine. Together we strutted into the mall, as everyone waited for us in the mall.

"About damn time, didn't think y'all was coming in." Braylon happily walked off.

"Sorry, you guys." I apologized with a smile as everyone started to walk.
