Kendra's POV
"I'm so glad classes are over this week" I sighed plopping onto my bed, in the room that I shared with Sierra, Milicent Bulstrode, Daphne Greengrass and Pansy Parkinson. Luckily only Sierra and I returned to our dorm straight after dinner.
"You know what that means" Sierra said smirking over at me. "Technically it could mean a lot of things, like that tomorrow is Saturday, or that we get to sleep in or-" I trailed off until she cut me off. "Oh Merlin, will you stop being a smart ass" She exclaimed slightly annoyed only making me feel triumph.
"Alright alright" I laughed putting my hands up in the air surrendering "What does it mean Sierra?" I asked. She stuttered for a second, possibly creating some tenting before she squealed "Hogsmeade!".
All I could do was sigh at her excitement. We've get the chance to go to Hogsmeade every weekend since the beginning of September, and we've gone very single time. It's not that I don't like the small village, personally I think it's spectacular, it's just that once you've been there as many times as I have, it starts to get dull.
"But Sierra" I started "We go every weekend" I wined like a small child. "And your point?" She asked looking me straight in the eyes. I paused trying to think of an answer to her question but all I could focus on were how large her eyes were open, reminding me of an owl. All of a sudden I began a fit a giggling.
"What is wrong with you?" Sierra asked shocked at my sudden outburst yet she tried to hold back a chuckle too. "Just go to bed you nut" Sierra laughed throwing a pillow at me, hitting me straight in the head.

I awoke to the sound of Milicent snoring, not the best way to wake up if you ask me. Unfortunately for myself it was too early to be awake since I am 100% not a morning person, but I knew for a fact that I wouldn't fall back asleep with the snoring that consumed the room.
I instead decided to get up and get ready for the day. I groggily dragged myself out of bed and showered, changed and applied some makeup. By the time I had finished off brushing my hair, everyone else in the dorm was awake too. As per usual Pansy and Daphne and I ignored one another since we could never find ourselves on good terms.
"Well you're up early" Sierra exclaimed surprised, rubbing her eyes from still being tired. "Wish I could say the same" I replied since she was the last one to wake up, revolving in me waking her. I told her that as she got ready I would be downstairs in the great hall eating breakfast, and I headed out.
***
I walked aimlessly down the corridors taking my time getting to breakfast since I really was in no rush. I watched as the new students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons mingled with the Hogwarts students. It was nice to see how pleasant everyone looked.
"Lost are we?" Came a cold voice dragging me out of my thoughts. I turned around to come face to face with none other than Draco Malfoy. "And why would you care Malfoy?" I said sneering his name. "Never said I did" He replied nonchalant. "Well then...." I trailed off not knowing how to reply to him stupid remark as the two of us stood there in silence. He looked me right in the eyes, glaring at me or maybe trying to study me. Honestly I couldn't tell because all my mind was tracing about was how much I loathed him.
Eventually he walked off bumping my shoulder with his, making me rage inside even more.
I began to trot off to the great hall ignoring the encounter with Malfoy and thinking about what kinda foods there were to be until another voice took me out of my thoughts again.
"Looks like there's some bad blood right there" Came another voice I recognized. "I mean I guess I'm used to it by now Blaise" I huffed looking over at Zambini as he rested on a wall close by with his arms crossed. "Well" He started "Care for some breakfast?" He. Blaise offered. "Definitely" I replied smiling up at him as we both headed off to the great hall.
