Finnick

I planted a kiss on her forehead.

"No nightmares? Please say that means you can go home?" I whispered into her hair as she yawned

"They'll want to make sure it's not a one off..."

"So which method is this?"

She shrugged as the lights switched on "I thought they'd ran out? The telling my husband what my nightmares are about probably helped?"

There was sharp tap on the door "LIGHTS UP!"

She sighed and crawled out of bed "I better get dressed?"

As she slipped off the hospital gown I noticed the fresh cuts and brusies all over her body- and she'd done that to herself. As she wrapped herself in a bath towel I noicted something else: blotchy red needle marks.

"Lil, what are they?"

She frowned when she saw the marks and mumbled "They were trying giving me 20mg doses of Morphling every 30 minutes."

"But, you're allergic to Morphling?"

She giggled "I know? apparently It's very rare so they reckoned it was a typo in my notes."

"They could've killed you?!" I yelled- these nurses were meant to help her not make her feel worse!

"I know- my mom's on about filling a law suit- I said no- the Capitol is so corrupt that it'd probably mean I could be completely recovered and never actually get outside these four walls."

"I need to get you out of this...Place." I hissed

"I'm here to get better, for you and Charlie- so..." She trailed off sighing "I dunno: I do want to go home to 12 but, I know that I put you and my mom and dad through so much by putting up with me."

"No one has to just 'put up with' you?" I chuckled

"OK. Not with me...Just putting up my messed up head when I sleep."

I shrugged "If you're going to talk to me then I don't mind?"

"There's only those nurses and doctors that can get me out without it being illegal." She sighed hard

"Then," I said firmly "I'll go and ask about you going home."

"Huh, good luck with that." She giggled

"Seriously, you'll be out of here by the afternoon." I vowed

She rolled her eyes "Okay Finn, whatever?"

"I will."

"Uh-huh?" She agreed eventhough I could tell by her face she thought it was impossible.

"Yeah well, I will get you out."

She turned to me grinning- it was a smile I hadn't seen in a long time- "Finnick Odair I will get myself out thank you very much?"
