I never knew what a blank page truly was until now. Staring out into nothing, no life, no world, no stars. Just an absolute stillness of what was never to come. Grading my teeth, clenching my fist until ever so slowly my senses came flooding back. First, smell hit me like a bomb went off, then noise. The metallic smell, the drip drip hitting tiled flooring. And taste, salty. And everything else that came with it. My arms tingles and my torso twisted as my body moved and my eyes caught sight of the mirror telling me I had gotten up from the floor. I was covered in mysterious tattoos. Blood dripped from my forearm down to my fingertips and dropped onto the ground I stood upon. A crack behind me and, with speed I did not know I had, my head spun around giving my neck a sharp pain. My legs kicked into action and my fist nocked down an unfamiliar face. Scanning my whereabouts, aware that I was in a bedroom. The ceiling was broken in the middle section; splintering down the side. Almost all the windows were shattered and everything else was a gnarled mess. I looked down at my combat boots, my eyes wandering to the massive Japanese Katana sword attached to my chest. And then I realised something: I had no idea where I was, or who I was...
