Newt x Reader : The maze hurts

Chapter 15: Not again

                                                                                  ~Minho's P.O.V.~

    I was walking up to Newt my fist's clenched and anger filling inside me. He realizes that I'm walking over and he gets up and starts to walk towards me.

    "Minho are you ok? Did you find y/n?" He asked as soon at he was about to 5 feet from me, I finally meet his eyes it looked like he'd been crying and he looked really tired.

    "I'm fine but I can't say the same for y/n" as I said that all the color had drained out of Newt.

    "What happened?" He asked he met my eyes he had tears in them.

    "I don't know if y/n wants me to tell you so why don't you ask her yourself" I said and the tears just came out. I ran over to y/n and had tears in her eyes from what she had seen.

    "Minho I can't, I just can't face him yet I'm going to go and find Thomas." Before I could say anything she was gone in an instance, I look back at Newt he had seen the whole thing. It broke my heart my two best friends are broken hearted. It hurt to see them this way. I ended up eating breakfast with Newt we didn't really talk much but I understood why. Even tho it hurts to see him like this I still don't know if I'm mad as hell at him or if I feel bad. But I am really worried about y/n doors open in a half an hour so I'm gonna have to find her soon.

                                                                              ~Y/n's P.O.V.~

    I had to go and find Thomas as I was running to the homestead I saw Gally, and Thomas sitting and talking. Gally turns his head and sees me and he doesn't hesitate to get up and run soon Thomas does the same. They both run up and give me a hug.

    "Where the hell did you go?" Gally asked me.

    "That's my business" I replied he looked slightly hurt but not bad. I looked at Thomas.

    "Hey, don't you have run today?" Thomas asked.

    "Yea" I replied looking down.

    "Shouldn't you be eating." He said.

    "Newt's there" I said.

    "Oh, I'll go get you some breakfast" Thomas said running to the kitchen.

   "Thanks" I said to Thomas in my head he looked back at me and smiled. I turned to Gally he had tears running down his face.

    "Gally. Whats wrong?" I asked my face filled with worried.

    "Why" Is all he said gesturing to my legs, he dropped to is knees. I lowered my self to him I put two fingers under his chin and lifted his face so his eyes met with mine.

    "I'm fine, it was just my depression." I said trying to calm him down a little bit.

    "Promise me one thing........ You won't do it again." Gally said.

    "I'm not promising anything, but I'll try." I said he just gave me a little smile and I gave him a hug.

     Hey do you want 1 or 2 hash browns ask Gally to.

   
    I'll have 2...... Gally wants 2 as well.

    Ok, I'll be there in 2 minutes.

    Ok.

    After 2 minutes of waiting Thomas came and had 3 plates with scrambled eggs and hash browns. I looked at my watch I had 15 minutes before I had to be at the doors. While eating Thomas and Gally both told me some jokes which put me in a better mood. Once we were all done we had 5 minutes which gave us just enough time to get our plates to Frypan and to the door right before they open. So we all run to the kitchen I meet up with Minho Newt no where in sight.

    "Hey are you ok?" Minho asked me.

    "Yea I'm fine, you better stretch we have a lot of running ahead of us." I told him as I was stretching he did the same we had 2 minutes till the doors open.

    "Good luck" I heard a british voice from behind me, tears instantly start form I didn't turn to face him.

    "Y/n I don't expect you to forgive me, but all I ask is that you'll let me explain."  At this point turned to see the boy that I still loved with all my heart he also had tears in his eyes. "Please when you get back from the run meet me in the deadheads" he said looking down.

    "Ok I'll be there" I said he looked up surprised at me, then the doors started to open but before we went Minho jogged to Thomas and Gally and said.

    "Watch him see if he does anything funny, I want a full report when I get back." He said gesturing to Newt they both nodded and Minho ran back and we ran in. We ran for about 15 minutes in silence then Minho broke the silence. "You know you don't have to meet him in the deadheads if you don't want to." He looked at me with a sorrow look in his eyes.

    "Yea, I know.... But we have to resolve this problem I mean he still is my boyfriend." I replied. "Can we just get off this subject." I said

    "Sure thing" he replied, we ran for about 4 hours just telling jokes and stories then we stopped to eat Minho wanted me to check with Thomas.

    Hey Thomas anything to report Minho wanted me to ask.

    Nope, hows the maze?

    Good well as good as usual

    Fun. He replied after that we stopped talking and Minho and I got back up and continued to run.

                                                                       ~Thomas's P.O.V.~

    Minho told Gally and I to keep an eye on Newt, I was going to do it anyway even if he didn't ask me to. So since Paige is new and need to try some new jobs I talked to Alby and he agreed that we could put her with the builders today. So Gally could keep and eye on her I was with Newt and the Trackhoes, Gally and I would meet up occasionally to talk if we saw anything then it was lunch time. Chuck sat with Newt, Gally and I. I sat Paige between Gally and I and like she had been doing all day she kept staring at Newt. I could tell by the way Newt was looking at her that he didn't like her that way, now that I realized it he seems really sad today but I can tell why. We went back to work as we worked I noticed Paige glaring at me and then smiling at Newt. But Newt kept looking at the maze.

                                                                                   ~Y/n's P.O.V.~

    Minho and I have been running for a while now, I looked at my watch It was 6 we had an hour to get back to the glad it was going to be close I taped Minho on the shoulder and we started heading back. We only had 2 minutes we rounded the corner and everybody had a scared look on there faces. The doors started to close I let Minho in front of me so that I made sure he would at least make it. We both made it in the glade but then I felt someone grab me it was Paige.

    "Newt's mine now not yours" she said and with that she pushed me back into the maze, I fell back but by the time I got up I wouldn't be able to make it back. But right before the doors completely closed Thomas and Minho got in some how.

I'm sorry I know this is a crappy chapter but don't worry I'll do better in the next chapter. There are some really exciting stuff to come in the next few chapters. Thank you for the support and for even reading my story. But ya. Do you guys think Paige deserves to get banished? I want to hear your guys thoughts.
