Newt x Reader : The maze hurts

Chapter: 3 Great the Shucking Maze

   ~Newts P.O.V.~

    I started to see y/n get into running position but I didn't think she would actually run in Gally and I tried to grab her but we couldn't. When I started to see the doors about to close I was about to run in with her but then I felt someone grab my shoulder, I turn to see Gally holding me back. Then I look at y/n with a sad and concerned look on my face and then the door's completely close and I couldn't help but cry. After they close I go and start pounding on the walls with my fist as hard as I could all I could think about was that now I would never have the chance to tell y/n that I love her, then I look back at Gally.

    "Why the BLOODY HELL DID YOU HOLD ME BACK" I started to yell my face filled with anger and tears.

    "I saved your life that's why" Gally said with tears starting to form in his eyes.

    "ITS ALL YOUR FAULT, SHE COULD STILL HAVE BEEN HERE IF YOU WOULD HAVE JUST LET ME GO IN AND GRAB HER" I said yelling at Gally tears streaming down my face starting to turn red with anger.

    "NO YOU TWO WOULD HAVE BOTH BEEN STUCK AND WE DON'T NEED TWO DEAD PEOPLE." Gally said starting to get really mad

    "Well I wish it was me instead of her out there" I said starting to turn back to the homestead, I got to my hammock I looked and stared at the doors where I last saw y/n and Gally just sat there, but I couldn't worry about that right now. But I was really tired especially from crying and my eyelids were really heavy and as soon as my head hit my pillow I was out.

  ~ Gally P.O.V.~

    I was still in shock from y/n being stuck in the maze for the night. Then Newt started to yell at me, it started to make me really mad because I was trying to help him. I really did feel awful that y/n got stuck in the maze and that I couldn't do anything about it. The truth is that I think I might like her like like her but I think Newt might to so I don't know if she does decide she likes Newt then we can just be good friends. But I still feel awful that she's in there so I'm just going to sit out here by then entrance and wait.

  ~ y/n P.O.V. ~

    I  could hear some of the gladers yelling but I couldn't make anything out but all I could think about was how Newt was telling me that nobody has spent a night in the maze and lived to tell about it. Then after sitting for about an hour in a half I heard a Griever coming I could hear its metal legs hitting the concrete floor and its horrible screeches. So I started running and then the noises kept getting louder and louder then it just suddenly stopped. I thought I was safe but I was wrong, I looked up and there it was the Griever. It jumped right in front of me I screamed and started to run I didn't look behind me but I could hear it was right behind me. I was trying to lose it by running around corners or just full on sprinting. After turning about 5 more corners I found myself by a cliff looking thing then I heard the Griever coming then I got an idea.

    So when it got close enough to me I moved out of the way and it fell over the edge then I took the chance I had and ran for about 10 minutes. Then I found a wall that had Ivy and it went all the way to the top so I tested a vine of Ivy to make sure it could hold me then I tied a vine of Ivy around my waste to if I fell it would catch me. So I started climbing up and I finally made it to the top and I just sat there, soon enough I lied down and just stared up at the stars then I drifted off into sleep.
