After everything settled down after leaving Bug Planet, Taz returned to her room thinking about what had happened. Up had saved her life again, and nearly died himself for her... again.

Taz took of her bandana and wiped the sweat off her forehead then let herself fall backwards into bed. She stared at the roof for a while before rolling over and looking at the picture beside her bed. Her and up on her 21st birthday. Taz was hugging into Up's side while he had his arm around her, holding her close. She smiled slightly and picked it up, toughing the glass with the tips of her fingers. She paused. Remembering that night. How happy she was on her birthday for the first time in seven years. He made her smile that night. A proper smile. One she hadn't shown for years, but was happy to show to him. Only him. It had always been only him...

Taz's was woken by a knock coming from her door. She jumped, placing the picture back where it was. She went over to the door and opened it.

"Up? What are you doing here?" She asked, confused as it was nearly midnight but she stepped aside to let him in, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"We need to talk." Up said seriously, moving past her into her room. Taz shut the door and followed him into the room. Up turned and faced her.

"Up, what's wrong?" Taz asked. He didn't say anything and grabbed her arm firmly. She looked at his tight grip on her then looked back up at him. "Up, you're scaring me. What's going on."

"I'm gonna do something and you can't get mad. Okay?" He said firmly. Taz just looked at him confused, raising an eyebrow. Up placed a hand on the side of her face, her breath caught in her throat.

"Up," she whispered, "what are you doing."

Up lent down and softly pressed his lips against hers. After a few blissful seconds, they pulled their lips away from each other.

"Taz, I can't do this anymore. I can't keep pretending that I don't have feelings for you, because I do. I'm crazy about you, Taz. I love everything about you. You're such an amazing person and I just want to love you forever. Please Taz, please say you love me back." He said slightly out of breath, looking into her eyes and holding her close.

Taz looked at him, "I do, I love you, Up. I always have. It's always been you." She smiled her proper smile and kissed him again.
