You were waiting patiently for your maids to come and inform you that you were ready to go. All this waiting was killing you though!

You were so excited, never before had you felt such happiness. A journey to the Kou empire sounded fantastic, even if it was for diblomatic reasons.

You had been informed that you would meet the first and second imperial princes, Lord Kouen and Lord Koumei and you would discuss the matter with these two exclusively.

You didn't mind it, not even when Rea told you about how scary and cold the first prince was, in fact you were happy that he wasn't like the males you had met up to this point. Your thoughts were interrupted by a light knock on the door, you gave your full attention to that spot and gave permission to enter. The twins came in with wide smiles and you knew it was time.

" My lady, everything is ready, we can leave right now." Celene said and you could tell that both she and Rea shared the same feelings as you.

" Wonderfull! Let's go. I can't wait to leave for Kou." You replied and you gave one last glance at your room before exiting, you were going straight to the harbor, you had no interest in anything else at the moment.

Your father was already there and was waiting for you and you didn't want him to wait for long.

The ride to the port seemed endless, Celene said that you were just too excited and you were just imagining it.

The carriage you had was something especially designed just for you. It was a huge white sphere with one  star shaped window and one round door, the door was ridiculously large in comparison to the window that was tiny and had heavy curtains covering most of it. In the inside there were sits with soft cushions and a small table that had a pot with hot tea and three tea cups.

It was a very unusual carriage, the size was that of an elephant, meaning it was spacious but because of the window it seemed more like a cage in a round shape.

"We're here! We're here!" Rea suddenly exclaimed as she stood up to to watch from the tiny window.

You smiled happily and prayed silently that you had a safe voyage. This was what you had been waiting for!

Once you got out of the carriage, the first think you saw was your father. He seemed... terrified, next to him your future stepmother, she was looking at him annoyed. When the two of them noticed you they came closer. You knew why your father was worried and you already knew what he wanted to say. As for that horrid woman, you honestly couldn't care less.

" (Name), I want you to promise me that you will not use your powers, not a single one of them. You will keep them hidden and promise me not to cause a ruckus, the Kou empire is dangerous. Also stay away from their magi, his name is Judal and he is a member of Al Thamen, if he discovers what you can do..."

" Don't worry father, I will try my best. Even if they do find out, it will be after the deal is made." You assured and he nodded with pride.

"Try not to embarass us. It is crucial to stay perfect in this situation." Your snake of a future stepmother chimed in with a wicked smirk.

" (Name) is by far the most gracefull and beautifull person alive. She will do just fine. I have complete faith in her." Your father proclaimed, now relaxed from his previous fears, your future stepmother looked at him with pure rage, jealous of the fact that she had been placed second again, in the king's heart.

You just smirked and wished she finally got the message that she will never be number one here.

"Thank you for your trust in me,father. I will not dissapoint you."

"You never did my daughter."

His gentle tone reminded you of when your mother was alive... oh, those were the good days.

And guess who just had to ruin the moment.

"Your majesty, we must go. We've been here long enough, delaying the princess." That horrid woman announced. Your father gave her a stern glare that made her shrink but he knew she had a point.

After a quick hug you were guided to your cabin, leaving the royal couple behind you and your kingdom for a job that would affect the future of your people.

" (Name), maybe you should rest. The ship will leave in ten minutes." Celene suggested as she sat down, she looked at you with concern, believing you might be nervous after your talk with your father.

Too bad, that was just her imagination, your father's words hadn't caused such an effect. Quite the opposite really.

" It's the middle of the day, Celene. I can't sleep and besides I'm too excited to sleep."

" I have an idea. Let's sing (Name), Celene." Rea suggested and Celene shrugged.

"I'm not in the mood Rea." Her twin replied and Rea pouted.

" You're never in the mood."

"How about I sing something on my own?" You offered and the two of them nodded, you tried to think of a good song and after a while you recalled an old melody your mother used to sing.

You took a very deep breath, closed your eyes and began singing with all of your heart placed in that song.

You had your eyes closed so you couldn't see the two maids who were staring at you with admiration as they enjoyed your voice. One would think it was the first time they ever heard you sing.

Little did you know that the whole ship was listening and were already charmed by you. The whole ship was silent in order for the melody to reach every person on board.

Once you finished, everything outside became noisy again and went back to normal. You opened your eyes and looked at them both with a serene smile.

Celene and Rea still stood there, still looking at you with clear shock written all over their faces.

" You're getting better and better even when I think you can't improve anymore." Rea finally said and you burst out laughing.

You couldn't help it, the way she put it and her expression had been a very good combination.

" Thanks." You mused while trying to calm down.

Celene nodded and looked at her sister, her expression an exact copy of Rea's.

" We really need to keep a closer eye on her. I think she might be practising secretely."

" No I am not, I've just sang that song so many times and that's how I managed to get so good at it." You defended yourself but they didn't seem to believe you, though what you said was the truth.

You, yourself, weren't sure how many times you had been singing that very same song, with and without your mother. Suddenly your stomach began growling reminding you that you hadn't eaten anything since this morning.

" I'll... go get you something." Celene replied, trying her hardest not to laugh at you.

You nodded and looked outside from the window of the cabin. The blue sea seemed so enchanting all of a sudden.

You smiled thinking that this was going to be a vert exciting experience.

Not eveen realizing the kind of trouble brewing on your destination and also back at your own homeland.
