Showdown

You slowly began regaining your senses and after a while, you opened your eyes.

With only a quick look at the ceiling, you knew you were in your room back in (k/n), your head was spinning. 

You couldn't remember anything except... 

Your father! 

You stood up looking around, nothing was different, was all that a dream? But it was so real...

" You're awake!!!" A voice exclaimed, suddenly a pair of arms trapped you and pulled you in a familiar source of heat. 

You knew that voice, it was Kouha. 

So it wasn't a dream... your father was... he really was...

"Kouha, let go of her. She must be dizzy, at least that's what the doctor said." Another voice scolded gently and you looked behind the third prince to see Kougyoku. 

" What happened?" You asked, the two of them looked at you concerned before you got your explaination.

" You were out cold for a week. The doctor said your body shut down because of the shock and your unstable emotions." Kougyoku explained. 

Slowly things became clear, you looked around once again before returninh your attention to the two siblings.

" I'm sorry for the trouble I put you through." You apologized with a sad smile. Kougyoku touched your hand and smiled kindly at you.

" It's okay, friends always help each other, right?" 

" Yeah... thank you, both of you." You said and then you saw your maids coming in. 

They seemed... angry.

And you had a suspicion why... but you'd still ask to be sure about it.

" She has a lot of nerve giving orders like that!" Rea hissed, she was furious. 

"Yeah, I think she needs to learn a few manners." Celene agreed.

"What happened?"

" That witch has been acting like the boss of everyone, that's what happened. She is already passing down new laws and getting rid of things in the castle... not to mention her attitude towards servants and nobles alike!" Rea explained and suddenly your sorrow turned into anger, how could she act like that when your father hadn't closed even a month? 

You stood up and looked at them with determination. You knew what you had to do. 

It was time to face this woman and make a few things clear. That's what your father always did and now it was time to make him proud. 

You still felt pain from this loss but you had to do your best and protect this kingdom that he loved as much as you did. You had to, for him... and for you.

"Celene prepare me a bath, Rea prepare me a dress. It's time to set things straight with this snake of a woman." You stated and your maids smile as they went off to complete their tasks. 

Kougyoku and Kouha were at a loss and were looking at you confused and you couldn't really blame them. They didn't know all the details regarding your relationship with that witch. 

" What are you going to do?" Kougyoku asked.

"There is a matter I need to settle with that woman. Prince Kouha, would you please ask your brothers if the negotiations can be done here?" You asked and he nodded with a smile.

" Sure, if that's what you want."

" Thank you. Kougyoku, would you like a tour at the palace later on? You showed me the palace back in Kou, now I'll show you my home in return." You said, you didn't know why but something in you had changed, you felt that you were stronger both physically and mentaly. Whatever it was, it helped you see what you had to do.
