Chapter 5

"What's happened?"I asked as I looked at Maluma with a worried expression on my face.

He let out a sigh and looked at me. "The alarms went off, someone came into his room ma and tried to suffocate him with his pillow."Maluma replied as he looked at me. "The nurses came back soon as they could and they did but that person disappear and didn't finish the job."

"Why didn't I get a phone call? He's my dad."

"Yeah I know but I'm also listed on the emergency contact aren't I? So is Royce."

"Let me go get a jacket on."

He nodded, I walked out of the kitchen and walked upstairs into my bedroom.

Who could do that to my dad? A man who has memory loss and is paralysed from his torso.

I grabbed my jacket and picked up my bag with my phone inside so I could phone Zabdiel when in the car.

I walked downstairs and walked into the living room to see Maluma holding Cyrus in his arms.

Anouk looked at me. "Where are you going?"

"Something has happened at the care home."I replied with a sigh. "I have to go and see if he's okay."

Anouk nodded. "Go, we'll be fine."

"Are you sure?"I asked as I looked at them. "Because he's only a week old and it isn't fair on you all."

"It's fine, we can do it and you go sort out what you need to do."Richard said with a smile on his face.

I looked at Joel. "You know where everything is don't you?"

Joel nodded. "Yeah I do, don't worry about it."

I walked over to Cyrus, I placed a kiss on his forehead then gave him to Chris then we left the house.

Maluma started to drive, I let out a sigh and pulled out my phone from my bag and called Zabdiel.

"Hey love, what's wrong?"Zabdiel spoke over the phone.

"Hey, I need to talk about something to you."

"No wait, Chris don't touch that."Zabdiel said in the background.

"Sorry, it's just Chris is messing around."Zabdiel said over the phone in an annoyed tone.

"With what?"

"It's him and my mum, just touching everything and say anything then they wonder off places."

"Well that's them for you."

"What do you need to talk to me about?"

"Chris just don't okay! Mum no!"Zabdiel yelled off the phone.

"You are very busy."

"I'm so sorry, carry on tell me."

"I'll tell you the rest later but I've gone out with Maluma, it's important."

"Why?"

"I'll tell you that later, Cyrus is with Richard and them. Hopefully I'll be back before you though."

"Okay, that's fine. I'll see you at home and I swear I'm leaving them here."

"Dale."
