Chapter 44

Amal's P.O.V

I looked at Maluma and couldn't help but smile and let out a sigh of relief. "Y-You came."

"Have I ever broken any promises?"Maluma said with a soft chuckle. "I meant what I said."

Chris looked at Maluma, he looked at Chris and didn't want to ask him why blood was dripping down his face. "Are the rest here?"

"Yeah they are coming, just sorting out someone's thugs who put their dotty hands on Amal."Maluma said as he looked at Marie.

Marie's face was positioned up, she could hear everything but couldn't look at any of us.

The lights came on,making our vision clear to see.

"Talk about dramatic entrances."Chris said with a soft chuckle.

"Don't you know? I'm all about them."Maluma said with a smirk on his face.

Richard ran into the room with a massive grin on his face. "Hey, you two."

"Richard!"I said with a massive grin on my face. "It's been ages!"

"Wonder why."Richard said as he rolled his eyes at Marie. "Someone thought to kidnap you but your hero is here after all."With a grin on his face.

Zabdiel ran into the room and he looked at me with a smile on his face then he walked over to me. He knelt down in front of me and his hand rested on my knee. "You don't know how happy I'm to see you right now."

"You don't know how I'm either."I said as my eyes focused on him.

He cut the rope off with a pocket knife using his other hand, then the rope fell to the floor and we looked at each other.

I jumped into his arms and we hugged ever so tight, he picked me up and twirled me around.

I inhaled his scent, making me feel ever so calm then he put me down and he looked at me. "No one is ever going to take you away from me again."

"I can't see properly."Chris said in a worried tone. "Can someone help at least?"

Zabdiel looked at Chris and quickly went to him, he cut him free but told him to stay put.

Joel, Royce and Kat came into the room, Kat looked at Maluma. "Are you going to shoot the bullet or can I please?"

"Still deciding."Maluma said with a shrug. "Because Zabdiel wants to put the bullet through her too."

I looked at Marie, something weird was going on because no way she would stay like that the way Maluma had her.

Maluma turned over his shoulder and looked at Joel. "Everything alright?"

"Yeah, did what you said to do. Threatened them and then tied them all up."Joel replied with a nod. "It went fine."

Before I knew it, Maluma was knocked out cold onto the floor.

I was going to run but Marie pointed the gun at me. "If everyone doesn't sit themselves down, I will shoot Amal."

"You won't shoot her."Chris said as he looked at Marie. "That's one person you wouldn't shoot, me and you both know that."

Mario walked in, he saw the gun pointed on me and he looked at Marie. "You don't want to do this, you don't want to shoot Amal or anyone."

"G-Go a-away Mario."Marie said as she looked at him.

"It's time to let them go now, don't you think so?"He spoke calmly to her as he looked at her. "You told her and you told Chris too but there's nothing else you can do now."

"G-Go a-away Mario."She repeated as she looked at him.

"Who is he?"Royce whispered as he looked at him.

"C'mon, we both know this isn't you and you want a relationship with Amal and Chris don't you?"Mario said as he let out a sigh. "How are you going to have one if you shoot her?"

"Put the gun down, this isn't you and you are making those things thatn people are saying true then."Mario added as he looked at her. "So put the gun down."

She looked at Mario, the gun slowly moved itself away from me but before anyone we knew, we heard a gunshot and we all looked at each other then I looked at Mario who was on the floor.

I ran to his side and looked at him, he was shot in his stomach puddles of blood surrounded him. "M-Mario."

He took a hold of my hand and squeezed it. "It's better for it to me then you."

"Don't you dare right now, I need to put pressure on the wound."I said as I looked at him into his eyes. "Please don't leave me right now."

Kat ran to his side, she ripped her sleeve and I put pressure onto his wound he let out a whine and she looked at him.

Her hand slowly stroked his hair. "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't believe i-it was you at f-first."She said as tears streamed down her face. "I'm so sorry I couldn't be the sister I wanted to be and I'm so sorry that you got dragged into this."

He looked at her. "I-It isn't you f-fault."

I looked at Mario, tears streamed down my face. "You aren't going to leave us, who else have I got to do my shenanigans with then? Chris? We know how he gets."

"Just look at us please."Kat pleaded as she looked at him. "Just look at us."

He looked at us for a few seconds then his eyes closed, I looked at him and kissed his cheek. 

Kat got up and looked at Marie who was still standing in the same position, Royce and Joel was with Maluma trying to wake him up, Richard and Zabdiel were trying to sort Chris out.

"I'm calling an ambulance."Joel said then pulled out his phone.

Kat ran to Marie and grabbed her collars, she pushed her against the wall. "Y-You killed him."

"I'm not the one who didn't think he was her brother did I now?"Marie spat as she looked at him. "If you cared about him so much then why did you leave him in the first place?"

"Because of you!"Kat yelled as she looked at her. "You caused this mess but you aren't the one suffering."

I looked at Kat. "She isn't worth it, just leave it alone."

Kat dropped her down and looked at her. "Don't you worry." 

Then she turned around and started to walk over to me but then she suddenly fell when we heard a gunshot.

"Someone get this gun off this loco bitch!"Richard said as he rolled his eyes.

I looked at Kat, she turned into her side only for me to see blood coming out of her. I quickly ran to her side and looked at her. "N-No Kat."

She looked at me. "It doesn't h-hurt as much as I t-thought it would."

"Don't go from me."I said as I looked at her. "Just wait till the ambulance get here please."

She touched her wound then she looked at me. "I don't think I-I can wa-wait that long."

Tears streamed down my face. "Just look at me."I said as I looked at her, my hand slided around her half of her body laying on my lap. "Just look at me."

She looked at me and let out a soft chuckle. "This is the first time I realised that you have hazel eyes you know."

"She isn't going!"Chris yelled on the top of lungs trying to come near us but Richard and Zabdiel held him back. "She can't die on us!"

Kat turned her head a little and looked at Chris. "I-I'm sorry I-I couldn't stay and we couldn't have the l-life we wanted to h-have."

"No Kat!"Chris said as he fought his way through but they weren't letting him.

Kat turned her head back to me and smiled. "I'm sorry for the pain I caused, I didn't mean to but make the family proud."

"Please don't Kat."

Before I knew it, she closed her eyes and I held her in my arms ever so tight. "Please come back."
