Chapter 38

I looked at her, her eyes just focused on me; her face ever so relaxed as she took a seat then pulled the chair close to me.

"I sacred you before, I really didn't mean to."Marie said as she let out a sigh. "I really didn't mean to."

"Can you please untie my hands?"I asked with a hopeful expression on my face. "I want us to have a proper conversation."

Kat looked at me and let out a scoff, Marie turned over her shoulder and looked at Kat.

"Don't you dare otherwise I'll bring you fire like Hades."Marie said with a death glare.

Kat rolled her eyes then Marie turned to me and looked at me. "I'll untie your hands now."

She got up and walked behind me then cut me free from the rope, she came back and sat down in front of me.

I looked at my wrists, ever so red and burning. My hand rubbed my wrists as I looked at Marie.

"Where's Chris?"I asked as I let out a sigh.

"Can we just have a conversation? Just us two?"Marie replied as she looked at me with so much hope on her face.

"I want Chris here, I need him here as well and he derseve an explanation as well don't you think so?"

"Don't bring Chris in here, it's going to hurt him more than you think."Kat spoke as she looked at me. "He shouldn't hear this."

Mari let out a chuckle. "Too late Kat, he knows already. I told him."

"T-Told him what?"

"How dare you?"Kat yelled on the top of her lungs trying to get out of the ropes. "Hurt him more then he already has been?"

Marie clicked her fingers then two thugs walked in and stood side by side by Kat. She turned over her shoulder and looked at her. "One more then you'll no longer be here, you'll be six feet under where you belong."

Marie turned back around and looked at me. "It's time I tell you now, it's been prolonged for too long."

"O-Okay."

"I had you when I was fourteen, it wasn't the best thing and I wanted to keep you so badly but mum and dad had other plans."Marie explained as she took a hold of my hand, she gave it a squeeze. "First it was adoption but it fell through then they took you in and grew you up, I had to stay on the sidelines watch you calling them mum and dad. It hurt so much, it was like someone ripped my heart out and held it in their hand beating. Then one day, you and Chris were messing around and it just feel right so ever since that day I knew you had to know but they never let me tell you."

"I-I don't understand."

Kat let out a sigh and looked down at her hands, Marie squeezed my hand again and a tear streamed down her face.

"You had your musical concert, you and Chris did. That was the night I was going to tell you but they didn't let me come, so I was in the car driving and I didn't know that the car I hit was them."Marie continued as she looked down at the floor. "T-Then I didn't know what to do, I left and ran but then things came too much and I ran to Kat's, she didn't know what to do or anything then I lost it and things went everywhere."

"They all died be-because of me?"

Kat let out a another sigh and looked at me. "No they didn't."

"Just things became too much, I lost it I really did. They thought if Kat faked her death then it would bring me back but it didn't."Marie said as she looked at me. "The only person who I thought I could trust stabbed me in the back, hurt me more and now I'm here."

"B-But who was the guy? M-My dad?"

"Don't say it."Kat said as she looked at Marie. "Don't hurt her more then she is."

"Chris knows so she has to know don't you think?"Marie said as she looked at Kat. "The secrets have been hidden enough."

"No don't."Kat said.

Marie looked at me, her thumb rubbed my hand. "It's Chris's dad, me and him had a thing going on."

"W-Wait you are the r-reason why Chris, I can't even say it."I said as I looked at her. "You don't know how he felt, he needed his dad and he left. Leaving him, his mum and his brother in ruins."

"I didn't mean to, it just happened. He understood me, he got me and he helped me in so many times it was countless."

"But you were underage, he took advantage of you."

"He didn't, I wanted him to because he was my soulmate. It was like what the Greeks say, when you attached to a line and the other end is your soulmate it was like that."Marie said as she looked at me with a soft expression on his face.

"Shame you didn't have a good history teacher then."Kat commented as she looked at Marie.

Reminding me of a episode of white collar.

I let out a soft chuckle then looked at Marie. "You told Chris this?"

Marie nodded and let out a sigh. "He hates me more then ever and I wouldn't blame him but I didn't want anyone to get hurt."

My eyes brimmed with warm tears as I looked at her, then tears streamed down my face. "B-But I lost my f-family."

"But I'm still your family."Marie consoled me.

I moved my hand away and looked at her. "You've broken Chris, you've broken me, you've broken Kat. You broken this whole family and I'm not going to allow you to break my family."

"And you don't get to come in here and do this, thinking you could make up for the time you lost."I added.

"Amal, if I could take back everything I could you know I would."

"Well you can't can you?"

"Please don't do this, you are all I have left."

"You should of thought about it all when you ruin Chris's family and mine."I said sharply as I looked at her. "Your words are bullets and your mouth is a gun."

I stood up. "You are going to leave me alone, Kat, Chris and my family alone, don't contact or anything."

Before I knew it, two thugs sat me back down and Marie looked at me. "You aren't going anywhere."

"No, you aren't doing this."

"Yes I'm."
