Chapter 33

Amal's P.O.V

My back leaned against the cold, hard wall, sending chills down to my spine. My hands tied at the back of me but all I could see was black due to the black sack over my face.

My bum ever so cold due to the hard cold floor and my legs stretched out in front of me.

"Chris?"I whispered hoping someone was there with me.

"Chris isn't here."Mario's voice boomed around the room, then the sack was removed to see Mario on his knee looking at me. "It's just you in here."

"Mario..."I said as I let out a exhausted sigh. "What's going on?"

He looked at me then looked down at the floor, staring at the pattern on the floor then looked up at me. "Amal..."

"Mario, you don't understand I have a family."I said as I looked at him, my eyes brimmed with tears thinking of Cyrus. "My boy, he isn't going to settle at all without his teddy bear or me cuddling him to sleep."

"I know Amal and I didn't want to do this either."He said as he lowered his tone. "Like I said the other day."

"Then why are you doing this?"I asked as hot warm tears trickled down my face. "We are family."

"It is were not are."Her voice boomed off the walls in such a cold tone. "Don't speak in past tense."

Mario looked at me once more then got up, rubbed the side of his nose. She stood behind him, her hair all out and she looked at me. "Look who it is..."

"Please just let me go."

She let out a loud laugh and looked at her nails then looked at me. "What makes you think I'm going to let go?"

"B-Because we a-are fa-"

She cut me off and let out a scoff. "Family?! Now we become family?"

A lump formed on my throat, not knowing what to say or to do.

She bend down on her knees and looked at me, her hand touched my hair me flinched a little just wanting to go home.

"You haven't changed the slightest have you?"Marie said with a soft chuckle. "Still the same Mally molly aren't you?"

I bit my lip, tears streamed down my face as I looked at her. "P-Please Marie..."

Mario looked at me for a second then pulled Marie away from me for a second and looked at her. "Isn't it about time we join her with the other two?"

Marie looked at him, her fingers trailed on his collarbone. "Aren't going soft are you Mario?"

He let out a sigh and looked at her. "Let's just get this over and done with."

Marie clapped her hands then two men came along and walked behind me, one grabbed my left arm and the other grabbed my right with a frightened expression on my face.

"W-What's happen-ning?"

Marie looked at me then clicked her fingers, the two men pushed me into a room then sat me down on a chair wrapping my hands in rope behind the chair.

They walked and stood in front of me with a light flickering on and off, I looked at them both. "P-Please h-help me."

"Hello?"Chris's voice eoched in the room. "Amal? Kat?"

I let out a sigh of relief, ever so relieved that I heard his voice it was ever so comforting.

"Chris?"

I heard a thud and another light appeared to see Chris sat on a chair across from me with blood dripping down from his face.

"Chris?!"I said as I looked at him letting out a gasp. "W-What did they do to y-you?"

"Amal."He said as he let out a sigh. "Don't worry about me okay, just focus on yourself right now."

"How can I?"I sobbed as I looked at him. "You are hurt ever so badly, there's blood dripping from your forehead and I-I need to help y-you."

He let out a soft chuckle and titled his head, he looked at me. "You know I can take this don't you? It's me Christopher Velez Munoz, I can take on anything."

I looked at him, tears coming down my face like Niagara falls and let out a soft chuckle. "Acting like rocky are we?"

Marie walked in with Mario behind her and sat herself right in the middle of us. "Enough with the chit chat."

"Here comes the ungrateful bitch."Chris remarked as he rolled his eyes at her.

"Ooh can't say that didn't hurt can I?"Marie said in a such a sweet tone as she looked at him, then she looked at him with a glare. "Another comment like that then you won't have any fingers."

"Oooh I'm scared."Chris mocked as he looked at her and saw Mario but didn't recognised him. "Who's the new lap dog now?"

"It's me, Mario."Mario replied as he looked at Chris.

Chris looked at me then looked at him ever so stunned. "T-This is just full of surprises ar-aren't t-they?"

"Is there anyone else coming back from the dead as well?"Chris added as he looked at Marie. "Is Alec coming back from the dead? Cyrus?"

Marie chuckled and looked at me. "I always wondered how you handled gobby here."

"It's me you want, not him please."I pleaded as I looked at her. "He hasn't done anything and he doesn't need to be here nor does Kat."

"Someone wants to be a hero today don't they?"Marie said as she raised her eyebrow.

I closed my eyes, flashing back to a time when things weren't like this.

"Chris don't you dare throw that water balloon at me."I screamed on the top of my lungs as I ran around the backyard with Chris running behind her with a balloon in his hands.

"Oh didn't I say that to you? But who did it to me?"Chris yelled as he picked up on his pace little faster.

"I think someone forgot that I do track."I said as my pace became more quicker for him to chase after me.

"I think someone forgot that I play football as well."Chris said with a smirk on his face.

"I've got food!"Marie yelled as she sat down at the table and chairs on the patio.

I turned around, the smell of rice stuffed in chicken brought up to my nose my stomach let out a grumble.

Chris stopped and looked at me. "I'm hungry."

"Let's continue this after dinner."I said with a grin on my face.

He nodded and we quickly walked over to the patio, we sat down at the table as Marie set out the food for us.

We started to eat and Marie had a massive smile on her face. "One big happy family don't you think so?"

"One happy family."She whispered as she looked at us.

I looked up and looked at Marie, she looked at me and grinned. "Ding, Ding we have a winner over here."Marie said with a massive smile plastered on her face.
