Richie rolled his eyes seeing Mrs Kaspbrak at the door. "Your sons safe now." Richies mom replied to the women. "Your scaring my sister" Richie scoffed. The women looked him up and down "I told Eddie to stop hanging out with Faggots" she scoffed back making Richie go quiet. "Dont talk to my son like that" Mrs Tozier replied practically slamming the door in her face. "Are you-" but before his mom could finish Richie re-opened the door.

"Don't label me that. The nicer word for it is homosexual and hey jokes on you because im in love with your son and i can promise you now i won't be laying one hand on him unlike you." He scoffed before spitting on the floor next to her. Eddie was stood on the last step with Holly in his arms. Mrs Tozier took Holly from him as he walked over to Richie. "Eddie-bear its time to come home, your not there hostage anymore" she said smiling slightly as she grabbed his arm.

Richie lunged forward to push her grip off him but his mother grabbed his arm to save him from getting hurt. "Wait." She said with complete confidence. Richie became confused on what his mom meant and curious on if Eddie had heard him. The small boy finally reacted to her grip and pulled away. "No! Im more welcome here than i ever am at home. Im staying at Richies for as long as i need." He took a deep breath in. "You will be doing no such thing." She said her eyes filling up with nothing but anger.

Richie looked at his mom who had taken her hand off his shoulder giving him the option to run over or not. He looked back at Eddie before joining his side. "Eddie lets go." Richie said not making eye contact with Mrs Kaspbrak. "Get away from him" she yelled at the taller boy. As she tried to split them up Eddie grabbed his hand leaving his mother in nothing but shock.
