The Class Trial

Shuichi's pov

We all got off of the elevator door and walked over to our podiums. Monokuma appears on his throne and looks over in our direction

"Alright scumbags you know the drill find out who is the blackened and the rest of you will stay alive until the game ends.... choose wrong and you will all be punished except for the blackened... now then let this class trail commence!" Monokuma explained

"Alright then so we all have alibis except for Kaito and the murder weapons where a bunch of kitchen knives set up with and elaborate trap" Kiibo stated

"I will admit I did go with Kokichi. But the fact is I didn't kill him i swear" Kaito said

"But how can we be certain about that?" Tsumugi questioned

"Because I didn't go into the library with him" he protested

"Why didn't you go in there with him?" Himiko asked

"Because he didnt want me following him in all we had was a simple conversation and he said 'I'll be back i just need to check something in the library' and of course i left" Kaito said

"Kaito can you explain to us where the blood on your shirt came from? Because you where fine this morning and even this afternoon" Himiko said

"I had a coughing fit and it was pretty bad that it got all over the front side of me-" he said before i cut him off

"Kaito that's wrong... the blood that you had on your shirt seemed to even be on your jacket and sleeves if I remembered correctly you even had it on your upper arms and shoulders...how is that possible?" I said

"It was just really bad to the fact that it was just a bloody mess" he replied

"Yeah but your not telling us something... where did your coughing fit happened.." i said

"Well u-uh..." Kaito stuttered

"Kaito... did you witness his death or did you do it and are just trying to cover it up?" I snapped

He sighs heavily and looks over at me "Shuichi I'm sorry... I did it.." he confessed

I felt so much anger that it was so hard to conceal inside me.... Maki and everyone looked so surprised when he confessed... i was at my limit with my anger and punched Kaito out of anger and started crying

"You bastard... you knew i loved him.. and you took him from me.. why.... why did you do it?"i said

"It wasn't my choice...." he said holding his cheek

"Then explain yourself!" I yelled

"Yes i killed him.... i am guilty but your going to have to figure this one out Detective" he said smiling

"What do you mean?" i asked

"I will give you a hint i was in the library but question is who made the trap and knew about it? The person who made it killed him. You really think i made it? If so where is your proof" he said

"Are you insinuating that you didn't kill him?" Kiibo said

"Everyone is guilty of being the culprit!" Kaito said

I sat and thought about it an yes he is right about that but there is something else that seems weird... out of all people why did he confessed just like that... this getting weirder...

"That maybe true but if that were the case someone would have seen them" I stated

"Oh Shuichi I forgot to mention something!" Himiko said
