Chapter three

"What do you mean there a creeper after you?" Caleb grab my shoulder and look at me with fear.

We were outside our first period class room, and I was telling them what happen to me after the mall. Ever since yesterday when I got that text from that creeper, I couldn't sleep or think of anything else except him. Who is this guy? What does he want? Why me?

I barely even said a word to my dad this morning when he ask me about my first day at high school. I just can't tell him about the creeper, what if he freak out? What if he moves me back to my grandparents? So the only people I could tell are my friends. They will know what to do.

"Like I said before, some creeper yesterday texted me and I don't know the number. See." I gave them my iPhone and showed them the messages. Even from this morning.

"I like what your wearing?" Miley read the message out loud.

"Yes and look, I can't tell the area code. I know for sure its not from around here" I showed the number.

" 559-765-0387, I know that area code. My uncle has that code." Caleb pulls out his phone and look threw his contact. " Right here, 559, that the California code." He shows me the number and that when something hits me.

"California? Didn't you go there for summer?" Lilly ask.

"Yes. This all make sense now. That how that creeper knows me. He must have seen me during vacation with my grandparents and now he after me." I said a lot. Then I had a hard time breathing. I was trying to catch my breath at the shocking news. That creeper must have follow me back from California.

"Hey Mel, what's going on? Are you ok?" Jesus came walking into our group.

"Ummmm..... yeah....yup everything great, everything perfect, just perfect." I stand up straight fast and gave a small smile. I must look very nervous right now. I can't tell Jesus about the creeper, he may think I in danger and tell my father.

"Ok" he look at me strange but just smile again. " So are you up with movie tonight still?" he put his arm around my shoulder and send shiver in my body.

"Yes" I smile and remember about our 'date' tonight.

The bell rings and that mean school started. We all enter health and again had to listen to our teacher, Mrs. Shelton. She very strict and mean. I take notes during the lecture until I felt a buzz in my pocket. Damn it!!! I check if Mrs. Shelton wasn't looking and I open the message.

>>> You have to cancel that movie date with him. >:(

What the? How does creeper know about my date with Jesus?

>>> I have my ways baby. But you have to cancel it with that guy, you can't be with anyone else. Your mine!

I felt a tap on my shoulder and see Josh trying to get my attention.

"It's him?" he whisper.

"Yup" I whisper back and felt another message.

>>> its not a suggestion. It's an order!

What is his deal?

<<< Look! I going to have this movie date with my friend and your not going to stop me! And stop texting me or I'm going to call the police!!

I threaten him and I kinda regret it now.
