Valentine Manner-Ball Room

(Maria's POV)

Me and Simon walked out of the kitchen and went to the ball room to check on things in there. Then as we came near the ball room we heard shuffling and talking coming from the room.

"Now, put this speaker here, and this amp here, and these mic stands, here, here, there, and over there." I heard John say as we walked in.

They were setting up the stage for later. The table decorations were already set and the stage was the last thing to be set up in the ball room.

"Hey there guys, How's it going in here?" I asked as I waved at them with a smile.

"Oh, Maria! your awake! How are you feeling?" Ussop asked.

"I'm feeling a lot better. By the way, you guys did a great job with these table decorations. They look very pretty against these table clothes." I said as I inspected the tables.

"Oh, Maria, I need to ask you something." John said as he jumped off the stage.

"Yeah, what is it?" I asked.

"Come over here. It's something privet." John said as he grabbed my hand and led me over away from the others.

I looked back and saw Simon and Franky gave John a thumbs up. Wait...what? I'm so confused right now...  I thought to my self.

"Ok..so..um..What would you say if i asked you if you would go to ball with me?" John said with a blush that was surfacing on his cheeks.

I froze, not knowing what to say. "You know the answer. It's always ganna be yes..." i said as i looked down and felt my cheeks grow warm.

"Thanks...well, i better get back. looks like they need me." John said as he gave me a peck on the cheek and went back to the stage. I was yet again froze in place. 

Ok, he got me that time. But he would know my answer to the question... Oh well. I could tell that he had been thinking about it cause of the disappearance of his fa- my thoughts were interupted by Alice who was trying to get my attention.

"Hey! Maria! You Okay? Your zoning out again!" Alice said as she waved her hand in front of my face.

I cought her hand right in front of my face. "What do you want?" I said as I looked over at Alice with a death glare.

"We need your opinion on the stage!" Alice yelled in my face. Well why didn't you tell sooner?! I thought, still holding my death glare.

"Maria, let go of Karter, and stop giving her a death glare." Simon said as he grabbed our hands and pulled my hand off her wrist.

Simon was acting like the butler he was to me. I had forgotten that he is my butler, but I didn't really care that much though.

Then Luffy and Ace came in to the ball room.

"Hey, Maria! All the decorations are put up, What's next?" Ace said, as he and Luffy ran up to me.

"Well everything's done. The foods done, decorations are put up, stage is set, and tables are done and ready. So, now all that's left is for all of us to get dressed." Marco said as he, Sabo, Sanji, Fang, and Zoro, brought in the suits and dresses.
