**Thank you so much for 46,000 reads! Unreal!
Also this story is almost over, four more chapters. Debating on whether or not I want to do a chapter in Aaron's POV. I'm not sure. Maybe when the book is completed, I'll add it as an bonus.
Anyway, enjoy!**

"Has Aaron seen your blonde yet?" Kendra asked.
I shook my head. "No, he'll see it later."
I bought a blonde wig. Finessed it. Then rocked it, and I was totally feeling myself. I didn't show Aaron the blonde because it was different for me, so I needed to get used to it before I showed him. I was sure he'd like it.
I hadn't seen him since our fight on Tuesday night. He'd texted me a few times to check in, but I knew better. He was still pissed off.
"It looks so good on you," Deja said. "You look good enough to eat."
I smiled. "Thanks."
I invited the girls to lunch Friday evening just so we could catch up. I'd been so focused on Aaron that I forgot about my two best friends. They felt the same way and agreed to meet with me on such short notice.
We got to catch up. They filled me in on what was happening in their lives, and I filled them in on mine. It was perfect because I needed their opinions and advice.
I poked at my Caesar salad.
"Something wrong?" Kendra asked.
I nodded. "Aaron and I are still fighting."
"Still?" She questioned taking a huge gulp of her fruit smoothie.
Deja quickly filled her in.
"He's not crazy for wanting to meet them, Kyra."
It took me a week, but I finally realized how stupid the whole thing was. I decided that Aaron could meet my parents if he wanted to. He would love me even if my mom was a cold-hearted bitch. I just wasn't sure how to approach him while he was still angry.
"I know. I'm over it now. But what if he breaks up with me."
Deja rolled her eyes. "He wouldn't do that."
Kendra nodded her agreement.
They had no way of knowing if that was true. "How do you know?"
Deja shrugged. "I just know."
I shoved a whole forkful of salad into my mouth and chomped obnoxiously loud.
"What'd you get Aaron for his birthday?"
A piece of lettuce flew down my throat, and I started coughing. Kendra patted my back until I coughed it back up and sipped my water.
I finally found my voice and asked, "His what?"
Her eyes widened. "You didn't know?"
"No! Is it his birthday?"
They exchanged a nervous look before Deja said, "It's today."
I threw on my jacket and grabbed my purse before throwing a twenty on the table. "See you guys later."
I rushed to my car and drove to Aaron's gym praying he was there. I was relieved to see his car in the parking lot as I got out of my car and walked inside.
Cameron was in the middle of training someone at the back of gym when he saw me. He smiled. "Kyra, hey, I'm glad you're here."
"Why?"
