(random1stuff) Single Mum?

"Everleigh, you wanna go get ice cream?" I yelled from the kitchen as I grabbed my purse off the kitchen table.

"Oh yes, pwease! Can I get spwinkles on mine dis time pwetty pwease?" She ran the through the kitchen as she came to hug my leg.

"Yes sweetie, anything you want. Now we have to go meet jack jack so we better hurry" I said as she grabbed my finger and we walked to the door.

"We're gonna see jack jack, we're gonna see jack jack" is all I heard down the the road. I pulled into a park at the ice-cream shop and turned to grab my purse from the passenger seat. "JACK JACK!" I heard everleigh scream from her car seat.

"Yeah jack jack's here" I exclaimed as jack opened her door and pulled her out of her seat for a hug and attacked her with kisses as she giggled.

"How is my pumpkin that I've missed so much?" Jack said as she giggled.

"You seen me yestewday wemember?" She asked him as he walked over to me.

"Yes I remember, how can I forget seeing a beauty like you?" She giggled as we began walking into the shop.

We sat down at a booth as a waitress came over and took our orders then left. "So it's everleigh's birthday on the 1st.." jack said as he tickled her and she tried pushing his hand away.

"Mommy he wemembered my birfday!" She exclaimed with excitement.

"well what do wanna do tomorrow?" I asked knowing he wanted to do something for her.

"Oooh I know, I know!" Everleigh said as she smiled. "How about we go to da beach! You know I nevor been and it's so pwetty in da pictures..."

"Um honey that's a little much and it being such short notice... I'm not sure we can g.." I began explaining before getting interrupted.

"Sure! How about it pumpkin? I'll arrange everything for tomorrow. I was actually planning a beach day for us anyways so this would be perfect" jack said happily as our ice creams finally made it.

"Yay we get to go!" Everleigh squealed as she hugged jack. "I wove you so much jack jack. Tank you for taking us!" She said as she held on to him.

"Your welcome, poobear. Now eat your ice cream so we can go home and get ready for the beach!" We kept a small conversion as we enjoyed our frozen desserts.

"Pumpkin! Come on. The cars loaded and were waiting on you!" Jack talked up the stairs calling Everleigh down to put her in her car seat.

She came running down with a piece of paper and a blue crayon. "Here you go jack jack, I made dis for you becawse your my favorwit!" She grinned as she handed him the paper which read "your the bestest fwend evr an me an mommy lov you" he smiled.

"Thank you pumpkin! I love it!" he said as he grabbed her up and ran out the door to the car as she squealed.

Finally at the beach, not very crowded and very nice weather. We got our room and settled in, making ourselves at home.

"Very nice place if I should say. Very lovely" I said as I sat on the couch.

"Yes It is beautiful. I put Everleigh in the room so she can sleep peacefully" he said sitting down beside me.

I laid my hand on his and looked him in the eyes. "Thank you so much for everything. Your the best ever and I don't know how I came to find the greatest friend ever. You've stood with me and everleigh from the start and I appreciate that. Honestly if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have anyone but Everleigh and she wouldn't have anyone she loves so much" I said sincerely as a tear slowly crept down my face.

"Oh darling, don't cry. You're an amazing woman, the most strongest one I've ever met. You raised a beautiful, precious daughter and you're still going strong! I'll always be here for you two whenever y'all need me" jack said as he wiped the tear from my cheek.

"MOMMY CAN WE GO SEE DA WATER!" we heard Everleigh yell, making us jump as she ran over to us.

"But baby it's nearly dark..." I exclaimed.

"Awe pwease" she whined.

"It's only 6, it's not too late" jack added for her. I looked at him and playfully rolled my eyes.

"Alright but only for a few because I've got plans for tomorrow" I said as everyone got up and put on their swimsuits. We then headed out the door and to the beach.

"Wow this is wonderful! Warm water, beautiful sky.... Just perfect" I said as I laid in the sand, sticking my feet in the water as Jack and everleigh played in the water.

"Jack Jack what about our plan? You said you would" I heard everleigh say as the water became still.

"How about we get to it? Let's go get her" I sat up, seeing them walking toward me.

"Come with me, I need to show you something!" Jack said as he helped me off the ground.

We walked a little ways down the beach. "where are we going?" I asked as we stopped.

Jack turned around with a plain expression on his face. "Antonia, it's been a great time being your friend and all but it doesn't feel right. I feel as if we..." Jack was saying before K interrupted him.

"what's this about? You can't be doing this, I thought we were fine a..and" I said as I began crying at thought if him leaving.

"oh please don't cry" he said as he looked over to everleigh and gave her a nod. I looked over to see everleigh drop a few shells and the words 'be mine?' written with seashells in the sand.

"Antonia? Will you be mine?" I covered my mouth, glancing between everleigh and Jack as tears streamed down my cheeks.

"It's.. It's so beautiful.." I said as I walked over to see the words more clearly.

"you never answered me" Jack said as I turned around to face him. "will you?" I smiled and quickly walked back over to him. I kissed him as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"yes!" I said as everleigh squealed with excitement.

"Yay! Mommy and Jack Jack!" she said as she ran over and hugged the both of us.

"well let's go to the room and celebrate with some pizza, yes?" I suggested and they both agreed as we all ran towards the building, to our room.
