Part 23

Raleigh POV

I looked over to see Jenna's eyes awake. I grabbed her hand.
"Are you ok?" I asked.
She sat up slowly.
"I am fine. Im so sorry" she said looking down at the hospital blanket that covered her legs.
"Don't worry about it. I just want you to be safe and happy".
"Thanks Rals".

15 mins later....

I had made it back to my room with the help of Raleigh.

I heard my door open to see Pentecost at the opening.
"How you feeling?" He asked lensing against the door way.
"I'm doing fine. Pretty tired" I said sitting up .
"I want you to recover, no more fighting" he said.
I looked down at my feet in defeat. I didn't want this to end my career. This was going down hill. It was all my fault.
"I'll give you time" he then left.

I went back to my earlier position. I didn't know what to do.
I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep with a sharp pain in my right shoulder.

I woke up early the next morning by the buzzers going off around the facility. I hopped up and left my room with the sling from yesterday and sweats and a tshirt. I made my way to the pit to see what was going on.
"What's is it?" I asked while I closed the heavy door. All the main computers were in and everyone seemed ready more than usual.
"3 attacks, all category 4" Opps said while turning in my direction at his desk.
"Holy shit" I said in responce.
"Who's going out?" I asked.
"The triplets, Hansens, and Gypsy" I heard back.
I looked over through the window to see the 3 Jeagers and thier piolets in ready positions about to be dropped.
I grabbed a mic-headset and turned it to the right channel.
"Pickles on the line, can everyone hear me?" I asked loud and clear.
"All good"
"Yup"
I heard from the Hansons and the triplets.
"Gypsy you good?"
I waited for a good minute.
"I'm suprised your up and going picks"
"Well goodmorning to you aswell Mr.Becket". (Mako poilets with him for now)
"Aswell Ms.Pickles".
God this was embarrassing.
