So here I am- three hundred years later as king of the Zora. I must say time has flown by much quicker then I had expected it to. I guess my self hate and wallowing passed enough time on its own.
I still can't quite comprehend it- how you left this world with a tender smile on your face and a gentleness in your eyes. How could you be so calm in such a time? How could you be at peace with everything as you faded into the darkness? How?
I've asked myself these questions time and time again- and just as soon as I think I can grasp it, it slips from my fingers.
Oh how I'd love to know the answer- if only you were still here and could explain it to me.Oh goddess Hylia, I really need to concentrate...
I think roughly as I rub my head with the palm of my hand, my dull eyes glancing 'round the room with a sudden urgency. "What time is it-" I mumble groggily to myself as I stand up from the marble chair I had been sitting in, my hands sifting through the paperwork in front of me- grabbing the papers I needed as I then left the blue room.
"Good morning!" A cheery voice said in front of me as I opened the door- turns out I was being greeted by a short Zora with green eyes. "Ugh-" I said exhaustedly as the Zora began to walk alongside me, rambling on about my schedule for the following day. I began to tune him out- no offense to him I was just too tired to concentrate.
"And then after that you'll be needing to finish up some business with Hyrule- looks like they need help with discussing war plans." Now that I was tuned in for, "War plans?" I questioned as I stopped dead in my tracks and looked over at the Zora with questioning eyes. "Ah- yes. They want to be prepared for the next time Ganon appears." I nodded my head at that in understanding as I began to walk- "prepare a small group of guards- we will head out tomorrow evening." I ordered and he smiled and ran off- waving at me until he ran around the marble corner."This will be interesting."
(Author- surprise! Another short chapter XP I promise they will be longer (no they won't)
