Dace Pov

Two classes later...

I guess Lacey isn't so bad. She's really cute and her smile is adorable. Her green eyes are beautiful too..when she blushes she makes me happy. Maybe I can try to forget about Lilah. If I start to date Lace I could move on and forget about her...

"Yooohoooo Dace?" Lace waved her hand in front of my face.

"Oh sorry, I was just thinking."

"About?"

"You actually..." I smiled and looked at her "um you have fourth lunch ri-" she nodded her head yes.

"Dace! Dace wait up!" I turned around and stop waiting for Stacey.

"Hey what's up Stacey?"

"Aren't we hanging out for lunch today?" She looked at Lacey and stared.

"Oh yeah. Stacey this is Lacey and Lacey this Stacey."

"Hiya! How'd you meet Dace? Did he use his ole charm on you?" She winked

Lacey laughed "no no he crashed into me skateboarding."

"You skateboard? When were you going to tell me this?! We MUST go skating together now!"

"Uh yeah sure when?" I rubbed the back of my head and smiled.

"After school?"

"Yeah cool. I'll meet you by my locker in the S building?"

"Mkay.. By the way did you show the art teacher your amazing skills yesterday?"

"SHIT.. I forgot I had to draw something or someone that is important to me.." I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair "what am I going to do?"

"What about the drawing you drew of that girl?" Stacey said

"What girl? What drawing? You didn't tell me you could draw??" Lacey spoke up sounding threatened by the mention of the drawing of the girl...

"Uh you didn't ask me if I draw? And it's just a drawing of a girl I know.. Well somebody that I used to know."

"Oh okay.." She looked up at me and her emerald eyes sparkled in the sunlight. "Could you draw me?" She smiled so sweetly.

"I guess I could. Just give me time okay?"

"Oo ooo! Draw me too?!" Stacey jumped excitedly

"Maybe I don't know I can't draw everyone I know.. But I can try.." I shrugged my shoulders "well I'm going to sit down by the shady tree again. Join me if you want."

"Hm.. I'm just going to go get lunch. I'm really starving! I didn't eat breakfast this morning." Stacey made a frown and headed to the cafeteria.

"I'll come" Lacey said and followed me to the tree. I sat down first then Lacey. "What were you thinking about me earlier? Before we got interrupted..?"

"Oh that it's nothing.."

"Tell me. Please?"she looked at me with puppies eyes and pouted her lips..I smiled

"Fine I can't say no to those puppy eyes.." Ugh how am I supposed to ask her.. I've never had a girlfriend because I wanted to wait for Lilah to be my first and last girlfriend. God I'm nervous now. "Um I don't know how to ask you this because this is the first time I've asked a girl this." I cleared my throat "but um will you be my girlfriend?"
