benny was in all of dean's classes and they both hoped they would get to be partners for the english assignment.
this was not the case. when the sub teacher said "winchester and novak." he was disappointed.
he had no idea who novak was. "who the heck is that?" he mumbled. dean would of swore but the teacher was still there.
what he didn't know is that the boy heard him say that before he slipped outside the door to go to lunch.
dean was very confused, how could he possibly do an assignment with someone he doesn't know.
how has he not heard of this person before? he thought he knew the whole class.
his clique had a certain table they would sit at in the cafeteria, right in the middle. walking towards it with benny and crowley, he wasn't focused.
dean was constantly looking around. he stopped in his tracks when he saw a boy sitting in a corner by the window all by himself.
the first thought going through his brain being that he was a loner with no friends, he felt bad.
other possibilities included that his friends hadn't come yet or his friends were sick.
dean made his way over to the boy.
"oiy, where you goin?" crowley said, directed at dean. "i'll be back, i'm just checking something."
crowley nodded and kept walking to his table.
