dean saw castiel in the morning, sitting outside his homeroom's classroom.
he jogged over to him and sits down next to him. taps him on the shoulder.
"hey, i forgot to text you last night, sorry."
castiel squinted and wrote
'i wasn't aware you were supposed to text me.'
dean smiled a little.
"it's not that i didn't want to, i just had too much things on my mind."
if only dean knew that castiel did not actually like communicating with people in general.
'i am not bothered that you didn't text.'
the winchester boy shook his head.
"i'll text you tonight and i mean that."
castiel just nodded.
he actually wanted dean to leave him alone, balthazar really pissed him off yesterday and he wasn't over it.
even though castiel was closed off from people anyway, he didn't even want gabriel or his father to talk to him.
'why are you even here?'
he, at this point, didn't care that was rude and was probably ruder through writing.
"well, i like you and want to be friends with you and i also wanted to explain why i didn't text last night."
castiel bit the inside of his lip, he didn't like the words that came out of his mouth at all.
'we won't be friends, i don't want them.'
dean laughed "we will be friends, however long it takes."
castiel didn't say anything after that.
balthazar wants to mend a broken friendship.
dean wants to start a friendship.right now, castiel would rather make up with balthazar than be friends with dean winchester.
castiel can't trust anyone, since balthazar did what he did.
