Few days later.

"Yeah I don't know about a trip to Miami that seems pretty damn far," I said to my friend Anastasia, who was also a stripper.

"So what? Let's go.." She begged while looking at me, "you know you want too.. We both could use a break from this fucked up ass city."

I nodded. She was right about a break but I didn't wanna leave my daughter whatsoever. Yeah me and my mom were on good terms but I didn't wanna vacation without my princess. She deserved it as well just for getting herself into school and she's been getting a green sticker in her booklet every single day.

I sighed, "I'll think about it."

"So how's you and your mom?"

I entered the MAC store, "we're good and she's good.. I got her caught up on her bills since she was fallimg behind a bit."

"Aww," Stasia cooed, "that's so sweet."

"Well that's my mom so of course I'm going to help... No matter how bad or good things get between us two," I smiled while shrugging, happily thinking about our close bond we have now.

Stasia gasped causing me to look up at her, "isn't that Kentrell?" I followed her eyes seeing he was walking with his large group of friends.

"I don't want him to see me," I mumbled.

"He need to see you.. See what he's missing out on," she pulled me by my arm outside of the store. We walked in there direction and Trell looked directly at me. I decided to look in another direction as if I was looking at the stores.

"Wynter," he called.

I kept walking, "Wynter!"

I finally looked back seeing he was standing there. "What?" I questioned not wanting to converse with him whatsoever.

"C'mere," he demanded.

"Come on girl," Stasia said while holding my hand. We walked over towards them and Trell smiled at me, "what'chu doin' hea'?"

I hadn't bothered to say another word. He hadn't bothered to call or text me simce the little incident we had, so the last thing I wanted to do was talk to him right now. "Huh?" he questioned as if he couldn't hear me but it was the fact that I hadn't said anything to him.

"What do you want?" I asked rolling my small eyes.

"Why is you actin' like that?" He questioned while glaring into my soul. I looked away from him and sighed, "can I go now?" He shook his head, "fuck no you can't go what tha fuck is wrong wit'chu?" He tugged at my hand forcing me to look at him. He had anger written all over his face but I could tell he was holding some of it back.

I was mad too though, I had every right to be.

"Let me go!" I hollered into his face as he pulled me closer, grabbing my other arm.

"Alright Kentrell let her go," Stasia interrupted while trying to pry his hands from my arms. "Fuck dat she need to fuckin' talk to me," he demanded then I finally pulled away from his grip since he loosened it.

"Maybe she really has nothing to say, come on girl," Stasia pulled me away before I began to cry.

"I'm sorry girl," she apologized and put her arm around my neck leaning her large head against mine. "I'm so over that best friend shit," I mumbled through my tears.

I arrived to pick A'melia up a few minutes early since any other time I'm a bit late. I entered the building and signed in. I went to her classroom and I didn't see her anywhere in sight. "Mrs. Robinson where's A'melia?" I questioned quite confused as to where my daughter was but the last thing I wanted to do was panic.
