EPILOGUE

FOUR YEARS LATER

millie waltzed down the warm street, anxious to arrive at her destination. along the sides of the roads were palm trees, waving in the cool breeze on the hot day.

in her view, millie finally saw who she hadn't seen for years. and, god, was she missed.

"sadie sink! my foxy red headed friend!" millie shouted before taking off in a sprint to get to her friend faster. sadie and millie had been planning to go to college in california for so many years.

"millie? is that really you?" sadie said confused.

"yeah, why wouldn't it be me?" millie questioned.

"dude you're so fucking hot! i mean, you were always really gorgeous, but damn, you are smokin'!" sadie screamed at her best friend who she hadn't seen in four years.

millie laughed loudly, finally happy again. after she moved to seattle, she didn't make an effort to make any other friends, or get a boyfriend. she became even more depressed than she had already been. but now that she reunited with her best (and only) friend, she was smiling and working like a normal person again.

"nah, you're the hot one here sads! you're body is perfect." millie complemented, causing sadie's cheeks to redden slightly.

"i missed you so much millie bobby brown." sadie said and leaned in for a hug.

"i missed you more." millie said.

they pulled away from the hug and started walking towards the enormous college campus.

"that is one insane place." sadie stated to millie when they arrived at the apartment that they were to share. there wasn't much furniture yet, only what had already been moved in by sadie.

"yeah, i don't know how i'm going to manage a job and college, though." millie said.

"we'll get it, we just have to do what works for us."

sadie took a sip from the glass of water she had retrieved from the kitchen when they had gotten to the apartment.

"how are we even going to find jobs here, anyways? los angeles has many people in it, most jobs will be taken. the good ones, anyway." millie sighed, leaning against the wall. she ran her fingers through her warm hair and realized she should take a shower.

"we'll go out tomorrow and find possible jobs, it'll be fine millster. you're nervous over nothing." sadie told millie in attempt to ease her mind.

"i guess you're right. i'm gonna take a shower." millie said.

"yes i am."

millie and sadie walked down the busy streets, trying to find a job. so far, they'd found jack shit. no workplaces would hire the both of them. all job openings were for one person. this was incredibly unfortunate for millie and sadie. how would they have fun in california if they never even saw eachother?
