~~Saturday morning~~

"See you later mum, Ari..have fun" I said waving as they began walking.

"Are you sure you dont want to go?" Mum asked.

"No I'll just watch it when it comes out on redbox. I'm not in the mood for being in a theatre" I said.

"Alright then, bye" Mum said walking out.

"bye" Ari said leaving with her.

"Bye" I waved to them. I looked across the street at Jean's house seeing a lady in her early 40s struggling with a lawnmower. My caring side kicked in and I put on my shoes and walked across the street.

"Morning" I said smiling and shading my eyes from the sun with my hand.

"Oh good morning" She smiled warmly "your our new neighbors aren't you?"

I nodded "Yeah, I'm Jessica Braginsky"

"I'm Mary Kirschtein" She said.

"Um couldn't help but notice that you're having a little trouble.... dont you have a man in the house to help you? A beautiful woman shouldn't be doing yard work" I said.

Mary giggled slightly "Oh you are so kind. But to answer your question, I dont. My son is too busy and he doesn't want to. It's only me and him"

"Well... I'll help you, I have no plans" I said.

"No it's alright dear I got it" Mary said.

"No I insist. I'm just going to get changed" I said and went back to my house quickly. Going in my room

I grabbed a pair of dark blue shorts and a black cut tank top that showed my belly. I put it on and went back across the street to Mary.

"Dear it's alright I can do it" she said

"It's not a problem" I went over to the lawnmower and swiftly started it. "just go relax inside, I got this" I said and began mowing the lawn.

Mary smiled "You're such a kind girl, thank you" she said and soon she went inside.

Sweaty and covered in dirt, I was in Mary's house drinking water and talking with her.

"Yeah and when I was in Italy I remember meeting the strangest woman. She was on a crate of potatoes and she kept on yelling her pants were on fire. I got so annoyed of her, oh yeah I was at a restaurant outside, anyway I grabbed my glass of water and threw it at her pants" I said and Mary was laughing at my story. "then my friends that were with me-"

"Mom you did the yard?" I heard Jean say entering the house "Ah and the house is spotless, did you have a lot of.." he walked in the kitchen then his eyes widened seeing me "..free ..time?.."

"No, this kind young lady did the yard and cleaned the house. Jean this is Jessica" Mary said.

"We've met" Jean said looking me up and down.

I wiped my forehead and then took another gulp of my water looking at Jean.

"She even cleaned your room" she said smiling

"What?! You let her in my room? Are you stupid?!" Jean shouted.

"Well I asked you to clean it but you didn't" Mary said.

"I dont want people going through my stuff you old bat" Jean snapped.

"Hey you don't need to be mean to your mother, I'm the one who insisted" I said. "thank you Mary for letting me help you out, if you need any more help please don't be afraid to ask. I have to go now" I waved and left before she could say anything.
