Chapter 5

It was Wednsday, my third week of classes had begun, and I still couldn't stop thinking about my date with Louis Tomlinson..The boy got me to jump in a pool fully clothed for crying out loud. It was the most fun I've had in years. I can still see his blue eyes staring into mine..with his hair dripping down his cheeks..The night was beyond perfect. It was pretty hilarious giving an explanation to Hanna to why her dress was soaking wet.. I coulnd't stop laughing.

"Emily! You're insane. What the devil did you do to my dress! ?" She shouted as I sat inside her car, with the towel still wrapped around me.

"Blame Louis." I chuckled. "Oh God. Now you're ruining me seat! Did he take you to an aquarium or something? !"

"Oh Hanna. I had the time of my life."

I smiled to myself, as I remember that night. Bzzz. It's my phone. Maybe it's Louis. I stumble over my bed to grab it off the desk. "Hello?" I answer, cool calm and collected, (and a little out of breath). Oh gosh, did I really just do that for a phone call?

"Hey Em.." It's Louis. I can tell by his voice. "How are you?" I ask. "I'm great. How about you?" "Same." I reply.

"I havent stopped thinking about the other night.." He trails off. "Me either." Even though I can't see him, I imagine a grin on his face. "HI EMILY!" I hear Harry and Niall's voices in the background. "Hey boys!" I say back. "Sorry about that. They came to borrow some toothpaste from me."

"It's fine. What're you guys doing today?"

"Another radio interview." He replies.

"Sounds like fun."

"Yeah, it will be."

It got quiet. Awkward silence..say something Em..anything. Come on.

"I'd like to see you again." I finally spit out. I bite my lip, waiting for him to say something back. "I- I'd like that too." He says. "Tomorrow?" I ask.

His voice then sounds unsteady. "I-..I'm sorry. I can't we're busy tomorrow."

"Oh. Friday then? We can go out to lunch."

"Uh..Friday we're doing a mall signing.."

"Oh. So I guess the rest of your weekend is booked too?" I ask.

"Yes. I'm sorry Emily. I'm pretty busy this week."

"Yeah. It's no big deal. Oh look, Hanna's back with the food. I have to go-"

"Okay. I'm really sorry Emily. Please forgive me."

"Yeah, I forgive you. I gotta go. Bye Lou."

"Bye Em-" I hang up the phone quickly and sigh. Whatever. He has priorities, and I'm just a random girl. So fine. I get it.

"Who was that on the phone?" Hanna asked as she closes the door behind her. "No one."

"It couldn't have been no one. I asked for a mentally stable roomate, so if you're crazy-"

"It was Louis." I cut her off.

"Oh yeah? What'd he say?" She smiled eegerly, as she set down the food on my bed. "Nothing..I-" "OH! That reminds me! Look!" She pulls out a magazine from her bag.

"Oh no.."

It's me and Louis on the cover. Not in the main part, but on the side. Hanna flips to the page, where there is an even bigger picture of us. "Oh no. I look terrible!"

"Oh my goodness you look great!"

"Shut it Hanna."

"I can't believe you're in a magazine! I didnt get a chance to read the article. Shall we?"
