Chapter 9

"Wow, these are fantastic." Hanna says as she hangs up some of the photos I've taken. "You're truly talented." She adds.

"Thanks, but they're nothing like your paintings." I reply. I turn to look at them. Her paintings were very beautiful. My favorite one is of a moon with an abstract background. In the moon, it's like I see a face of a sad woman. It's quite fascinating acutally. Captivatingly beautiful.

I decided to put all the developed photos I took into a box and Hanna looks through and picks which ones to put in the room. So she does that often to keep herself busy on days we don't have class.

"I like this one!" Hanna pulls out a photo. It's of her and I in black and white, our backs are towards the camera and it seems like we were about to enter a double decker bus. "Adam must have took that one." I say. She nods, "Probably. I like it though!"

I haven't seen or spoken to Adam in a while. I sort've missed his pain-in the-ass charm. Louis been in town most of the time these past weeks, which I love. We've been spending loads of time together..He's so amazing.. I was going to meet up with him for lunch today, since we didn't get a chance to see each other yesterday or the day before.

I should go see Adam before I go out with Louis..

"Han. I'm going to go see Adam down at the Cafe'. I'll be back in a bit." I say. She nods and continues putting pictures on the wall. It's almost completely covered. Our room looks pretty amazing, in spite of how empty and plain it looked before.

"Well, well, well." Adam greets me.

"Ew, it's you." I joke.

"So, how art thou Mrs. Tomlinson?"

I narrow my eyes at him and he smiles. "I haven't seen you in a while." I say. He wiggles his eyebrows, "Miss me then?"

"Eh. In a way. I've been spending time with Louis."

"I know, I saw a new picture in Sugarscrape." Adam winks at me.

"Great. Well, I cant stay long, but I just wanted to come by and see if you were still alive." I chuckled.

"Why wouldn't I still be alive?"

"Well you know, just wanted to see if someone killed you before I did."

He glares at me, "Well, sorry to dissapoint, but I'm still alive."

"We should hangout sometime. With Hanna again. She loves the picture you took of us." I say.

Adam was also a photographer at the art school but he paints too. We don't share any of the same classes, our schedules are different.

"Yeah we should." Adam replies, setting down coffee to a table next to mine.

"Adam, are you talking to friends?!" Someone calls out from the counter. "No! Just to a customer!" He shouts back. "Better be!"

"Sorry, you do seem a little busy today. Should I go? I don't want you to get in trouble or anything."

"Nah, don't sweat." He sits down across from me, grabbing a piece of coffee cake from an empty table.

"Ew! Did someone already take a bite of that?! "

Adam shrugs and continues eating. "It's still food." He says with his mouth full, crumbs falling down his chin.

"So how are you two?" Adam asks.

"Me and Louis?"

Adam gives me a look, "No, you and the bum down the street."
