|| There wouldn't be much to Tell ||

I reach over to my phone as it keeps ringing. I quickly pick it up, eyes still closed, before answering it & putting it to my ear.

"Melody, please tell me you didn't forget." I hear

"I didn't forget," I say clearing my throat

"You totally forgot! You know we have that assembly in the auditorium today."

I'm still half asleep but I can guess what's going on.

"I didn't forget. I always type up my speech on my phone, I'm on my way." I say

"Well hurry the hell up because it's in 30 minutes!"

I quickly shoot up and literally fall out of bed. I finally open my eyes and look at the time, 1:15 PM.

"Holy shit! Now I'm on my way!" I say hanging up

I quickly grab my clothes before going into the bathroom. I wash my face and brush my teeth. I then quickly do my makeup and brush my hair up into a nice ponytail. I throw on my clothes and leave the bathroom. Quickly slipping on my shoes, I grab the essentials as I run out of my room & down the stairs. I get into my Jeep and make my way to school.

Once I finally get to school, I park and get out. I lock the door as I walk in and run to the auditorium. I get to the auditorium, trying to catch my breath before I walk inside. There were hundreds of transfer students sitting in their seats.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, our senior class president Melody White," Chanel says as everyone claps

I smile at everyone as I make my way toward the stage. I walk up and thank Chanel before handing her my bag. I face the crowd and smile.

"This is my third year doing this and I still managed to be late," I say causing everyone to laugh

AFTER THE ASSEMBLY

I stand outside the door of the auditorium shaking the student's hands and answering any questions they have. Most of them are freshmen, which I think is pretty great. I think this whole thing is pretty great. We get to welcome foreign students and make sure they have an amazing high school experience.

I know I've had the best four years of my life at this school and I'm so glad I got to meet everyone I have.

Even Harry....?

"Mel I don't how you did it but you did, so thank you," Chanel says

"Chanel I've known you since the 3rd grade, you literally don't have to thank me. It's what friends are for." I say smiling at her

"No wonder you're the popular girl here, you're so fucking nice and a great friend. You've got it all." She says as we both laugh

"It's a gift and a curse. Now if you'll excuse me, I have errands to run." I say

"Got plans this weekend? I'm throwing a kick-ass party for the start of my birthday week."

"Well my brother is supposed to get here Saturday so, I'll let you know," I tell her

"Alright well I gotta go clean but I'll see you tomorrow." She says walking away
