It's been three weeks. Three weeks ago, Luna sat in a cafe with her best-friends having a million questions run through her head.
Was she starting to be a hormonal teen? In other words, was she starting to feel something for Daniel? Her teacher?
Three weeks ago Daniel was sitting on his couch embarrassed at the fact that Luna walked in on...that. Three weeks ago Daniel couldn't help but worry when Luna was eventually dropped off by Larson around three in the morning smelling like weed and alcohol. He couldn't help but wonder, what would've happened to Luna if Larson wouldn't have brought her home? And the biggest question of all, how did Luna and Larson know each other?
Even though he laid in bed that very night in only boxers with a naked Jessica besides him, all he could think about was Luna.
Luna this,
Luna that.
He couldn't get her out of his head.
Three weeks have gone by and Luna was craving Daniel's lips on hers. Three weeks and she hasn't missed a single day of his class, turning in all her assignments on time so that way she wouldn't get detention.
Three weeks and Daniel couldn't focus on Jessica whenever she came around, because she wasn't Luna.
Because he wants Luna,
His student.
Three weeks in which Luna has avoided him and ignored him whenever he tried speaking to her. It killed her, but it killed him even more.
Because Daniel Smith, is starting to feel something for his student.
Now it's Friday, February twenty-third and Luna's sitting at her usual lunch spot at school: under the nearest tree to the front steps. Only she isn't with Adelina and Lily because they went to study, she's alone.
Thinking over life, how much things have changed in these last couple weeks, how much things can change in a matter of three weeks.
It was a nice day, around seventy degrees or so, the sun was shining, the snow was melted, and everyone was inside the school so she wouldn't be bothered. She sat leaned against the tree letting the sun shine down on her tanned skin and the slight breeze was flowing through her pin straight hair.
Luna was snapped out of her midday thoughts when she heard someone whisper-yelling her name. At first she thought it was a hallucination, she thought she was going crazy. But that's when she looked, and saw Mr.Smith, he had his classroom window open and was poking his head through to call her.
She scrambled to her feet and headed over to the open window,
"What are you doing?"
"There's ten minutes before lunch is over come inside I don't have a class."
"And why would I do that?" She argued.
"It's a nice day out here." She whispered.
"Ramirez just come into the goddamn classroom."
"No." She crosses her arms over her chest and stared deep into Mr.Smith's green eyes. The ones she gets lost in. The ones she looks into before teasing him, the ones that she can never say no to. The same very eyes, that she's been avoiding.
"Ramirez." He said in a regular volume now, although his voice was raspy and he started to roll up his sleeves.
Luna stood there trying to tighten her thighs while going unnoticed but terribly failed, because Mr.Smith saw her action, and smirked.
