*Luna's POV*

Friday.

The only day left of the week, the only day left that I needed to accomplish my mission of avoiding Mr. Smith, Lily and Adelina.

But noooo, Carol and her little things just had to hog up the entire bathroom.

I mean sure, I'm the baddest girl in school but also one of the smartest so you're probably wondering how the baddest girl gets made fun of by a girl like Carol. It's not so hard to understand really. Every highschool cliche has a snobby stuck up- yeah, you get the picture. Surprisingly she was my best-friend before I met Lily. She made up some rumor about me that I'd rather not mention right now, after I became somewhat popular in ninth grade, which was also the year I left her at regular school to come to this one. (Best decision ever, just saying).

After getting that note in class my entire body froze. Jessica is coming over, and he wants me there. Is he nuts? I clearly hate Jessica and she clearly isn't buying the whole "niece" crap.

After class I was going to talk to him about it but I couldn't even do that. Why? Because a bunch of hormonal teenagers decided to stay after class for 'extra help'. Yeah, extra help my ass. If there's anything they need extra help with it's finding a hair dye that actually matches their skin tone. Like seriously, who dyed their hair? And where did they go to school at- wait, they probably didn't, it'd explain a lot.

I decided to just go on with my classes and pretend like I was listening to Lily talk about a- and I quote- "sexy new bouncer"- she had met at the club Tuesday night. Adelina was on the quiet side during most of lunch but I decided not to call her out about it because then again, so was I. I responded to everything with either, "wow" or "that's so cool!" and my personal favorite, "oh."

When the final bell rang and we were dismissed for the weekend I told Lily and Adelina I'd see them tomorrow and rushed to Daniel's classroom.

"What the hell!"

Daniel looked up and at back in his chair placing his pen down and crossing his arms.

"Luna-"

"No. How are you just gonna sit there acting like you did nothing wrong when you know damn well you-"

I was interrupted by Mr. Smith clearing his throat and nudging his head towards the window. I peeked my head through the door and saw Carol siting there with messy hair and her shirt unbuttoned.

"What the f.." I was at a loss for words again.

I don't know why I thought I was special, maybe he was just a pervert. Maybe Carol was just a slut, maybe I was over thinking and nothing actually happened. Whatever it was, I needed to get out of there before having tears stream down my cheeks. I simply shook my head and walked out the classroom, and out the school.

The walk home was cold I'll tell you that for sure, but I just started to blend in with it now. Cold and numbness, was all I felt. When I got to the motel I knocked on the office door hoping Maggie was there.

"Hey suga what's up?" Maggie asked.

"Hey Mags, I'm staying at Lily's house for the weekend so I'll move in to twenty seven on Sunday hopefully." I explained.

"Okey dokey." She replied with a big smile.

I walked to my normal motel room and quickly undressed and hopped in the shower. I didn't even bother checking to see if anything new was there I just turned on the somewhat hot water and jumped on in. I looked to the scars on my ribs and the one going down my arm and it bought me back to moments I'd never want to relive ever again.
