"You're going out again?" my mother asked as I started putting on my hot pink Vans.

"Yeah," I said looking up at her.

"Where have you been going all the time?"

I couldn't tell her that I was going to see Jack. My mind searched for an excuse. I had been telling her I was hanging out with Alaska the past week and I she was getting suspicious.

"Just out shopping," I told her walking outside before she could ask any further questions.

"Jack," I said as I walked into his house, "I don't know what to tell my parents anymore. If I keep telling them I'm going to Alaksa's they're going to talk to her and-,"

I was interupted in my sentence by Jack kissing me, "You're smart. You'll think of something to tell them."

I smiled. I didn't know if I was smart enough to outsmart my parents but I liked that he thought I was.

We sat in his living room watching White Chicks, which I had never seen before.

Whenever I watched movies I've never seen before I got really quiet and focused on the movie so I was basically ignoring Jack if he said anything.

I sat watching and laughing until the movie was over and I turned and looked at Jack.

"Sorry, I get like that when I watch new movies," I said awkwardly.

"It's fine. You've never seen that before?" Jack asked.

"No. You know my parents," I pointed out.

"Good point. But you've talked about things equally as bad ask White Chicks before."

"Zoe and I watch those when both mom and dad are gone. White Chicks just never made it on the list," I told him.

"So what movies have made it onto the list?" Jack asked.

"Well," I said thinking, there were a lot of them, "Click. A Haunted House. A bunch of stupid T.V shows," I named them off on my fingers.

"Your parents wont let you watch any of those?"

"Nope. But my mom doesn't care as much as my dad does. She'll let us watch some worse things than my dad."

"No offense but your dad sounds horrible," Jack said.

"None taken. He is. And you've never had to live with him," I groaned.

"I can only imagine."

"I just realized that I told my mom that I was going shopping and if don't have any stuff they're going to know something's up," I said staring wide eyed at Jack.

"So lets go shopping," Jack suggested.

"I don't want to make you go shopping with me."

"It's fine. Plus I wouldn't want to see you get in trouble," Jack smilied.

"Okay. Let's go, I guess," I said standing up.

"How do I look?" I ask walking out of a changing room wearing a pair of teal blue skinny jeans.

"Beautiful. As always," Jack said looking at me.

"Seriously," I said.

"They look good," Jack nodded in approval.

"Good because I can't breahte," I said laughing.

"You're such a loser," Jack said laughing at me.
