Harry excitedly popped up out of his chair when Rufus got up to trot to the front door. Samantha was here and it was going to be a great day. Her office was done. Anne had really outdone herself. Harry shouldn't have been shocked it was so beautiful, but he was.
Samantha was just standing after petting Rufus when Harry excitedly pulled her bag off her shoulders and set it on the couch,
"C'mere..." He said softly, pulling her towards the room. He stopped suddenly, causing her to almost run into him, "Oh wait." He took a moment to appreciate her, lifted his hand to her cheek and brushed his mouth across hers with a slight hum of satisfaction, "Good morning, Nava. How did you sleep?"
Samantha was a bit taken back by the whirlwind of activity when she'd come through the front door but he'd definitely calmed that storm with his kiss. She smiled,"Good. Sorry I left last night though. I probably would've slept better here."
Harry quirked his brows,
"You're welcome here whenever you like." He pulled her towards the room again, "Ok now c'mere..."
Samantha stumbled over Rufus, giggling out Harry's name,
"Where are we going?" She asked.
"Just here." Harry said stopping in front of the door. He was breathing kind of hard, a consequence of his excitement level. He gestured towards the door, "So I've been working on something the last few days. My mum helped..." He racked his brain for something else to say, finally deciding to just open the door and let her see.
Samantha gasped when she saw what was behind the door. The room had been painted the most calming shade of mint green. All the furniture that had been in there was gone, now replaced with a huge white desk and a white couch. There was a big TV mounted on the wall opposite the desk as well. A crystal lamp with a 1920's style lamp shade was on the desk along with a few other knick knacks and a brand new iMac.
Harry watched as Samantha slowly walked into the room. There was a bookshelf to her right, a few books in there already and a few pictures of Samantha with both Anne and Harry in silver frames.
The sun shown in from the bay windows in front where there was a sitting area full of fluffy pillows.
It was the most beautiful room Samantha had ever seen.
"I figured you needed your own office." Harry's voice filled the room suddenly. The silence too much for him to bear. He swallowed, "So I called my mum. She picked out the color...I-I hope you like green." He stumbled, "But I picked out the rest..." Samantha turned to look at him. He reached up to grab one of the frames nervously, "I dunno I just wanted it to be..." He set the picture frame down and shoved his hands in his pockets, "Part of me...part of you." When Samantha continued to stare at him without a word he took a shaky breath, "Do you like it?"
Samantha took the two steps into his arms, her mouth crashing against his in a deep kiss. Harry's fingers winding around her hips as he leaned forward.Samantha pulled away, her forehead pressing against his,
"I can't believe you did this."
Harry shrugged. His earlier nerves sliding away as he realized she liked it,
"Figured you can't sit in the kitchen on that stool forever." He chewed his lip, "I know you like your laptop...you don't have to use the computer, I just-"
"I love it." She interrupted, "All of it. It's perfect. Every inch of this is exactly what I would've chosen."
Harry's smile was genuine as it spread over his cheeks,
