"Keith!" Pidge swung her arms around him nearly in one leap from the bed to the open door. "I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too, remember don't make so much noise or else everyone will hear us!" Keith stated and put his finger to his lips. Pidge nodded, grinning from ear to ear before sneaking a kiss on his cheek. She watched as his face began to turn red. He tried his best to come up with a catch line, but in between stuttering words, he couldn't get it out.
"So what's it like working with the Blade of Mamora? Is it more adventurous than Voltron or do you miss us?" Pidge questioned as the two silently walked down the hall towards the kitchen.
"It's definitely thrilling, requires more focus, but Kolivan says I'm pretty natural with it. But I do miss Voltron a lot. I miss everyone here." Keith paused before putting a his jacket around her. "I know you love wearing this jacket more than I do." He watched her face bright up when she snuggled into the slightly larger piece of clothing.
"Thanks."

The couple reached to the kitchen, it was surprisingly bare with the two having acknowledged that Hunk occasionally goes through the kitchen at different hours of the night.
"Here you go" While Keith's head was still in the fridge looking for a good meal, he handed Pidge a drink.
"And here I thought Lance drunk the last of it!" Pidge acclaimed quietly, still looking around. She sat at the table as slurped a sip of the fizzy alien drink. Keith returned to his green paladin and took a good look at her. He never realized until this moment that her hair was long enough to fit into a slightly messy braid that ran to her back, leaving a few parts of her hair still in her face. He thought of letting her keep his jacket because he knew with each mission he was on, it was getting increasingly dangerous, but didn't want to tell her that just for the sake of savor ing the night with happiness.
As she was sipping down that last drops of the drink, Pidge could feel her eyelids becoming heavier. Keith, who was leaned back, watched as she tried her best to fight off the sleep, eventually giving in. The last thing she remembered seeing was his smile.

"Pidge, you must've had a good night because you never sleep this late-" Matt laughed as he stretched his body, still trying to wake up himself. He stopped as he saw his little sister sleeping soundly with a jacket he hadn't seen before over her like a blanket. Confused, he shrugged, and left his sister slumbering in peace.
