Fix What's Broken (Fable 3 Reaver)

Sabine's Tasks

    Addie and I were back at the dweller camp and as we made our way back to the gate we handed money out to whoever we could find. It felt good to help people and I always felt tingly and giddy when someone's eyes would light up when we handed them money, and it made me feel warm inside when I saw how happy the children looked. It made me want to cry just a little bit knowing that we were helping these people even if it wouldn't last that long, at least we were helping them in some way. I could tell Addie felt the same way.

    We reached the gate where Walter was waiting for us, "The scruffy look sits you. I've spoken to Sabine and he's well... I told you he'd take some convincing. Come on." He said as the gates opened and we followed him inside. We walked up to a very large and strong looking person, "Out of the way Boulder, I can't see a thing." A man behind him said. Boulder moved out of the way and I saw a very short and oddly dressed man sitting on a chair which I assumed was his throne. Max trotted over to Boulder and sat there as he looked up at him as if he was expecting Boulder to pet him which he likely was.

    As Sabine and Addie spoke I looked around the area, and watched Boulder pet Max. Aww Max likes Boulder, that's cute. Max is such a sweet heart, "Boulder." Sabine said, causing Boulder to sigh as he stood up, "Aww let him pet Max. I doubt you guys have dogs up here often enough for him to pet them." I said in the most polite tone I could so that it wouldn't come off as rude, but it seemed to have worked, "Very well." Sabine said as he waved his hand to tell Boulder he could pet Max before continuing with what he was saying, "If we don't eat then we will die, and the dead don't make good allies." He said, "Is that all?" Addie asked him, "Yep that's all, off you go then. It was nice knowing ya." He said as he sat back down.

    Addie and I walked out with Walter, "I bet he thinks we're gonna die." I said, "Hmm what makes you think that?" Addie asked sarcastically. Walter explained the chamber that Sabine was talking about as we made our way to the gate that led out of the dweller camp. He told us that he would meet us in Brightwall when he had some more information and we split up from him. Addie took us back to the sanctuary so we could change back into our other clothes since we wouldn't be needing them in Brightwall.

   On our way there we ran into a few wolves and so we were stopped a few times so that they wouldn't follow us and hurt anyone else nor would they attack anyone else who travels through here.

    The snow started to clear away as we got closer to Brightwall. I was ahead of Addie since Max had found a treasure chest and I told her I would scout ahead for any more wolves. I was at the top of a hill and I could see the bridge that led into Brightwall and I also saw a man walking across it. He was very tall and was wearing a white suit. His hair was dark and from here I could just barely make out a small dark mark on his left cheek just below his eye. He looked up and we locked eyes. He simply looked at me for a few seconds as he walked and winked before I looked away to see what was taking Addie so long only to realize that more wolves had shown up. 

     I gasped and drew my gun before running over and shooting some of the wolves that were trying to sneak up on her. She looked up at me once I shot the last wolf, "Thanks." She said with a smile, "Any time." I said slightly out of breath. We both made our way up the hill this time and towards the bridge but the man from before had disappeared.

    As we walked through Brightwall Jasper told us about it, and what we may need to do in order for the town to agree to help the dwellers. We made our way to the library and stopped just outside, "Okay, here's what we're going to do. I'll go in there and talk to the librarian, show him the seal, and tell him that you're also a hero while you go around and try to make some money so that if we need it we have it, alright?" She said, I nodded and we hugged before parting and she went into the library as I walked around the town.
