Addie and I looked at Theresa when she appeared, "You have now fulfilled the first half of your destiny." She said, "You were little more than children when you left the castle. You have become heroes. Leaders. And now finally, a monarch. But your journey is not yer don. Now you are queens. You can know the truth. Albion will soon be attacked and the threat could not be greater." She said before an image of the map in the war room was shown in our minds. It had black spots form over Aurora before it soon took over and came over to Albion, covering everything in an ink like substance.

"Why didn't you tell us all this at the start? It was never about Logan was it?" Addie asked, "I told you what you needed to know and I never spoke anything but the truth. With Logan on the throne Albion would have been doomed. This much I know. Only with a hero wearing the crown, do we stand a chance of survival." Theresa explained, "And how do we stop it?" I asked, "You won't. It's arrival is inevitable. One year from now, the darkness will fall upon Albion. All you can do is prepare, and hope to save as many of your people as you can. How you do so is up to you. Two paths lie ahead. You may keep the promises you have made and be known as a benevolent ruler, but understand that doing so will leave little to spend on the kingdom's protection and may lead you to disaster. It is not easy to be popular and keep the treasury full unless you're willing to sacrifice your personal wealth." She said.

"But you may also choose to break your promises. To harm your people in order to save them. You will not lack the means to build the army you need, but you will be hated. This path will cast you in the role of a tyrant, as it did your brother. You have one year to do what Logan could not. Be the ruler that readies Albion for it's greatest threat it has ever faced. And be the heroes that can stand against it." She said before disappearing.

The gate behind her opened and Addie and I opened the chests before going back to the castle.

~Time skip~

Addie was taken to go decide what to do on the taxes while I went down to the kitchens with Bella, who was in the sanctuary during the battle, to get something to eat. I walked in and the chefs looked at me before a couple came over, "Hello your majesty. Would you like something to eat? You must be starving after all that time you were away." One of them said, "I mean, I'm not exactly starving but I would like a sandwich or something please." I said, "Of course ma'am, right away." They said before going back to what they were doing.

I decided to talk to the maid that was in the kitchen cleaning while I waited. A few minutes alter they handed me a sandwich with melted cheese and tomatoes. It was something I told them about a long time ago and now it's what they make whenever I ask for a sandwich. I told everyone to have a good day before going back to the front.

Addie approached me moments later, "I've lowered the tax rate. That entrepreneur thing you got helped a lot. Did you know we had two million gold just from letting people rent houses that Jasper bought?" She said causing me to nearly choke, "Two million?" I said, "Yeah, and according to Walter we need six point five million so we're close." She said and I nodded, "Anyway, we need to go see Reaver down in the city." She said and I nodded again since my mouth was full and walked with her down to the city.

We walked past crowds of people who were all cheering as we did until we reached where Reaver and Paige were standing.

"Oh happy day! Their majesties, the queens of Albion grace us with their radiant presence." Reaver said, "I knew last time we met that you would emerge victorious from such public sibling rivalry. And now here I am! To assist you in filling your pockets until they are fit to burst." He continued.
